First of all, you’ll need to go the Cannon Canada website to get some of the ‘stuff’ you need to complete the set up. I could not find this model on the USA Cannon website. As far as performance is concerned, the paper feed is wonky and gets jammed frequently. Given the price, it’s an okay choice. I had an IT pro with over 20 years experience set this up.     • Don’t buy if you’re in the US unless you want to be frustrated.
This printer provided me with nothing but trouble straight out of the box. I spent hours trying to get it to connect to my computer and had no luck whatsoever. I kept getting an error message when I was installing and trying to run the driver. It would connect to my phone but not the computer. I even tried to connect it under the Canadian settings and found nothing but frustration. The printer is a Canadian model too and I found that out when searching for the correct software for the installation. I believe the issue was caused by this but I could not get it to work and had to send it back. I’m no slouch with technology either and no amount of troubleshooting could fix this. ... show more
