If you are a crafter like myself you will find this printer to be extremely cost effective with quality prints. I make scrapbooks and so I buy a lot of digital papers so I can print them. I got this for Christmas in 2023 and let me say I have printed hundreds of digital paper that have lots of vibrant colors and I have barely used up any of my color ink. I haven’t even used 1/4 of the color tank yet. This is such a blessing and it keeps my cost low in creating my books. Update 3/19/24 I saw some reviews when I purchased this printer regarding the printer in continuous sleep mode and that you have to manually wake it up every time someone wants to print. If you go into your settings and find your printer and go to printer properties for your PC (not sure for mac) you can select 'start immediately' so that printer turns on from the PC so you don't have to wake it manually. It works like a charm from a PC aspect. I have yet to print from my phone. If I do I will update then. Additionally, there were complaints about the printer folding at the corners or jamming when going through the rollers. This has happened to me, however, I realized that this only happened on 20lb paper and only if you don't have the paper in its place tightly between the blue paper size adjusters. Also, the printer doesn't have any issues with heavier paper. Lastly, I did find that the Hammermill 100 Bright 32 lb. paper doesn't work well with this mega tank printer. The paper has no issues going through smoothly due to its weight, however, the color just plainly sucks. Even if I changed the paper type on my PC to the appropriate setting, the colors and print comes out very cloudy looking. So I don't recommend using this brand paper with this printer. I will update what paper works best for this printer as I try other brands. So far Canon and Epson papers work beautifully, which can get costly, hence my search for a more suitable substitute in paper. TruRed generic Walmart 20 lb. 96 Bright printer paper is acceptable. Wouldn't use it for a professional look or if you are a crafter. ... show more

    • Difficult to Install
Style: G3270 (New Model)
This is my second Canon printer and this one seems to print crisper than the previous one. This printer is definitely louder than my previous printer, but not so loud as to be disturbing. The installation is difficult and I only did the USB wire installation. The first trick is to get the software down loaded. The instructions say to go to Microsoft, however my password was outdated and there was no way to update it. The instructions say in small font if Microsoft will not do it to click here. The download happened fine and the instructions were easy to follow. The final step is to install the print heads. I did not find these in the box until I tore apart what looked like a cardboard spacer. The print heads were in there along with a power cord. There are no instructions as to how to install these so I went to Youtube and found someone who showed how to do this. One must be careful to put the B head in the B slot and C head in the C slot. Also the tab that lifts the cover of the print head compartment is black like the rest of the interior and is difficult to find. It is in the front of the print head cover. I took one star off for a difficult installation. The printer itself deserves a 5 star. ... show more
