This laser printer works great. I believe the printer is great but the app/software problems needs to be Addressed, patched, updated and/or changed. I cannot scan, print, copy and just type a email address or reply with attachment from printer or forward it and send. It's a big production typing in on printer and after all that doesn't send. The remote App on iPhone way says I cannot use the feature. Also saving a document it only saves to drive which I never can find. It finds photos fine and old attachments but that doesn't help. I want to send a real time file legal document by email. It will save to on my phone but when I try to attach the file it will not come up to attach the file I want to email. I've tried many ways. I usually have to try to copy file and try to place it in a folder I can just open with email attachments. I email it to myself then TRY to copy it and send a new email to the person I am replying to. The software is really messed up. Buggy or something. And/or iphone12, gmail,or the Canon software. I just know when they all fix it to work in co very together it will be fast. Convenient. I just cannot stop and troubleshoot while working trying to send documents fast to attorneys, doctors, legal stuff they need. I end up having to find sone way just to put an attachment reply to an email and it's a circus. For me anyway. But the printer works great. It's not color and a little pricy just being a laser b/w laser. I've bought two. I hope they fix/patch a update on the software or send instructions instead of being sent to trouble shoot on their support looking for the specific problem to either understand it or repair a problem. I just cannot search help trouble shoot while working just to bc attach a document after scanning, copying, etc etc. ... show more

It works great for my home office needs. I also have a inkjet printer that is good for image quality but not for regular office use. I bought this and it has been great so far. It even scans better than my inkjet printer does. It's simple to use does almost everything the printers/scanners do at the CPA office I also work in. I find that the print jobs coming out of the center of the machine is very strange but for the price it was by far the best laser printer option for my needs. I rarely print anything in color so B&W was perfect. Printed like 50 pages of a manual in under 5 minutes and each page was crisp and sharp. The only feature I had trouble setting up was sending scans to myself but I just switched to using a shared SMB drive instead of email and it works perfectly. Just as many features and just as clear as my company's shared office printer but not nearly as confusing to set up and it mostly just works. ... show more

I bought this printer two years ago. I could not install it because complications. So, I went to Cannon website for help. They charged me over $700 that is include protection system. I found that is not Cannon but another technical support company. I don't know why Cannon has technical support under their name. A customer like me trusts Cannon the name and it is free service to customers because we buy their products. Since technology had been developed so much there is/are changes and complications. I used to have no problem on installations or to do connection with new systems, but I don't think I can do it easily in these days. It makes me upset the company is taking advantage on the customers. I would not recommend to anyone to buy from such a company. I would not buy Cannon products anymore. ... show more
