The settings are fairly easy to set. The assorted lenses that came in the package are of great quality. I enjoy all the "bells & whistles" provided on this camera. This camera will take exceptional pictures and video. Gives choices to have pics in jpeg or raw, or both. Taking pics in both raw & jpeg will useful alot of chip space. It took awhile, but I figured out how to attach the 420 lens. The little tripod is very unstable and does not hold the camera up. The part that is suppose to be used as a hand strap on the left hand side blocks the battery door and does not allow you to remove the battery without removing it first. It didn’t come with any information on the flash attachment. I have already ordered a backpack camera bag, as the one included is very small and cheaply made. As far as photography, the pictures are great. I have so much to learn to use this camera to its full potential!! I am excited to learn! I bought a book to help me with all of this! Size: 18-55mm + 75-300mm + 500mm Preset Lens Kit
This is a camera best suited for Manual setting users. Autofocus on the T7 is extremely slow, and has been since it came out. Manual focus is much faster once you learn to use it that way. The rest of the camera settings are very easy to adjust, and the auto works reasonably well for casual shooting. Holding any long lens still, is gonna be hard without a lot of practice, but the 500 is actually a really good lens as far as image quality. This is what that monopod and that tiny tripod are really good for! The slave flash is pretty tiny. I guess it could be useful but I am not sure what I could use it for. If you are needing to shoot dim lit, you are going to have to invest in at least a >$100 flash. The case I received was a very well made and suitable Vivitar. The tulip hoods, color and UV filters fit the lenses tight and work well. Always install UV lenses and leave them as they will protect your actual lens from dust and damage! As for the Camera it worked perfect. But the 420mm to 800mm lens does not fit and theres no adapter to make it fit. On the lens box it says its for all slr cameras but that would be impossible without an adapter and I looked it up and there is no adapter for the Commander lenses to make it fit a cannon. I bought renewed special to get the extra lens. But now Im returning it and ordering new for the same price without the extra lens. That way I get Cannons 1 yr warranty. As for the camera and the cannon lenses they all worked great. Do yourself a favor and get the new minus the 1 extra lens for the same price as this bundle because the extras arent that great. The tripod is unusable without putting it on a desk or something. I want a stand up tripod in which I have already ordered. Because the tripods in accessory bundles are basically just throw aways. More for your trash can. The only good things about this setup was the 55mm lens and the 300mm lens which you can get in the new bundle for the same price as the renewed. I am totally new to cameras and dont understand iso and shutter speed and all the extra settings in a good camera but this camera makes it so easy in the automatic setting and Cannon did a great job for helping novices like me its so easy to use. Ill buy the camera for dummies book so I can learn to get into the settings. The clarity on automatic is impeccable and the automatic focusing is very fast. This camera has so many functions I just wish it was a 4k camera but for those cameras you have to drop over a thousand dollars.well thanks for reading my review I just hope it helps someone else decide to just buy the new kit for the same price and just buy the extra lens you can get the 420 to 800mm lens for less than 100 dollars and at least everything is brand new with the new warranty and it also definately fits the camera unlike this one ... show more
