Ok first off, when measuring from the ground 16" isn't a great height. Most of these fences came in about 12" and I needed the extra height to just keep my cat from eating my frosted fake tree. I measured first and decided 16" would work and it did. It was easy to assemble, the size was accurate, and it looked great. I thought the quality and thickness was pretty good for the price and it looked like the photo. I just recommend measuring first before buying. If you are using this to keep a big dog from the tree it won't work. It is kind of flimsy, but I measured and bought the appropriate length, so it went from wall...around the tree...to the wall again. I just measured from the wall to the end of the tree (x 2) plus the width of the tree and got an average of the length I needed. The height does not look like it does in the photo, so like I keep saying.....measure first before buying. Once I put some presents under the tree, it did a better job of keeping the fence upright and a little away from the tree. It is definitely doing the job this year though and I'm happy with the purchase.

The height in the image is deceiving. While yes, the measurements are listed, initial appearances would have you believe it’s a taller fence. That aside, it’s very flimsy and ripples over easily. It is a minor nuisance at best for our cats.

These cheap plastic pieces are a waste of money. Three of the pieces arrived already broken. It's a ridiculous price for what you get.

We have a 9’ Christmas Tree. What you see pictured is 2 sets. As you can see it will visually deter a puppy or small child. I wanted more distance from the tree so my puppy didn’t grab the limbs like he’d been doing. I used some small foot stall cubes. Also, you’ll note that 2sets covers about 1/2 the base, okay if your tree is placed in a corner. Easy assembly, looks great. Not super sturdy, but visually deters.
