  • Very capable camera
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Although it was an open box [not taped shut] and the battery was in a plastic bag[ no protective cap] and no paperwork whatsoever included ,for a supposedly new camera , i,m keeping it as it has enabled me to take 110 good quality pictures so far! Easy to use if you like or you can be creative with it! Download the manual from the internet! reminds me of my canon AE1 but much more capable! ... show more

  • Great camera! Great camera!
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Canon never ceases to amaze me. I originally purchased a Sony Ax7iv and it was a $2000 camera. Unfortunately after one month I had to return it due to issues with the camera. I purchased this Canon Rebel for a lot less and it's easier to use and light weight compared to Sony. My pictures are beautiful and I'm able to take great product photos for my online business. It's a nice size and functions very well. Very pleased with this camera. ... show more

  • Great Starter DSLR for Learning Photography
Style: Body w/18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
Pros Excellent camera for beginners who want to move beyond a smartphone. The two included lenses provide a lot of versatility for different types of photography. Image quality is sharp and detailed, especially in good lighting. Easy-to-use controls with room to grow as your photography skills improve. Battery life is solid and lasts through long shooting sessions. Comfortable grip and lightweight enough to carry around. Great value for those looking to get started with a DSLR system. Cons Autofocus can feel a bit dated compared to newer cameras you gotta know how to play with it. The 75-300mm lens is useful for extra reach but may not produce the sharpest results in all situations. Performance in low light isn't as strong as more modern camera models. Overall I purchased this as an entry-level DSLR, and it has been a great way to learn photography. The included lenses make it easy to experiment with different styles, from everyday shots to zoomed-in subjects. While it isn't the newest camera on the market, it still delivers great image quality and is an excellent choice for beginners. ... show more

  • Great Entry-Level DSLR with Solid Image Quality
Style: Body w/18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
Great Entry-Level DSLR with Solid Image Quality I purchased the Canon EOS Rebel T7 as my first DSLR, and it’s been a great experience so far. This camera is perfect for beginners who want to learn photography without getting overwhelmed by too many features. Pros: • Image Quality: The 24.1MP sensor delivers crisp and vibrant photos, especially in good lighting. I’ve taken some fantastic landscape and portrait shots. • User-Friendly: The interface is intuitive, and the built-in guide mode helps explain settings and functions. Great for those new to DSLR photography. • Wi-Fi and NFC: Easy to transfer photos to your phone or tablet using Canon’s app. A big plus for quick sharing on social media. • Battery Life: It lasts a full day of shooting if you’re not constantly using Live View or flash. Cons: • No 4K Video: It records 1080p, which is okay, but if you’re looking to shoot high-quality video, this might be a limitation. • No Touchscreen or Articulating LCD: The screen is fixed and not touch-sensitive, which can make navigating menus slower compared to more modern cameras. • Autofocus in Live View: Slower and less reliable, especially when shooting video or using the screen instead of the viewfinder. Bottom Line: If you’re just starting out and want a reliable DSLR without breaking the bank, the Canon T7 is a solid choice. It’s not packed with advanced features, but it gets the job done and does it well. Ideal for hobbyists, students, or anyone learning the ropes of manual photography. ... show more

  • Long time Canon user day one observations. Long time Canon user day one observations.
Style: Body w/18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
Wish I could only take half a star but I just can't give a full 5 stars sorry. I've been a long time Canon user that doesn't do change well. Hense the reason this is my first camera purchase since 2011 when I got my T3 as a Christmas gift by my soon to be husband. All but the very last photo were taken by that same camera and would continue to be my main camera if it wasn't for some spots on the mirror that can not be cleaned/removed. My T3 has traveled half way around the world over the years and has left me with some very awesome pictures with zero problems till the spots showed up sometime in my last Alaskan trip. So given the longevity of all my previous Canon cameras I chose to stay with Canon and just upgrade to the T7. When the box arrived I got worried and that was the reason for the complete unboxing pics to start with. The box was pretty banged up and I wanted a record if there turned out to be any problems. I will say it was luckily very well boxed and everything appears to have arrived just fine. It was nice to see my old cameras battery and battery charger will work with the new one. But I was a bit disappointed to see the strap that comes with the new camera. I took a couple pics of both my 14yr old strap and the new one. The new one is shorter by almost 4.5 inches and much thinner! Until I receive a personalized one I ordered I will be using my old one just for the comfort the wider one gives. My next dilemma was with the connections. I was looking forward to a possible wifi connection but ran into issues with the different programs and even one that appears to have been removed/disabled. The camera doesn't come with a USB cable and of course its not a normal A or C connection but a mini-B which most electronics today don't use and I didn't want to keep removing my memory cards like I did with my older camera, so off to the electronics store to get a cord so I could use it today. Other than the above issues, the camera itself, is what I wanted so far. My eyesight is not what I wish, so having a camera that can make up for that so I can continue to take the pictures I love but still let me be artistic about it is awesome. The last photo was a macro on the fly before it got dark today and although the white puffs of the dandelion was my object it even managed to do a very good job of showing the bug on the left I never noticed and this pic is completely untouched and on the automatic macro setting. Looking forward to continuing my photography for many years to come with my new T7. ... show more
