Great chair, comfy. We did have some issues with the chair, one of the footrest motors was faulty, and after about 90 days, the backrest would not recline at all. Contacted the vendor, determined it could not be repaired onsite, and they quickly shipped a replacement base unit, which worked perfectly out of the box. This was manufactured in China, and as usual for Chinese items, when it works, it works well. Manufacturing flaws show early, so can be fixed within warranty period. Would recommend with one caveat: watch closely when first recieved. Recommend the vendor wholeheartedly. . . ... show more

This chair is super comfy. Don't plan to watch a whole movie, if you are like me, you will fall asleep on the opening credits! I did add two bolsters at the neck and at the lower back. I am about 5' 7" and the leg extension is long enough to support me to the back of the heels. It does not Fully recline flat, but it does raise your feet--higher than the seat of the chair, and goes back far enough to make it comfortable to sleep in it. The fabric is soft, but fearing stains, I added a 4-pc cover for it, as well as a waterproof quilted cover over that. This is my first ever recliner and I wanted to protect it and make it last a long time. The undercarriage part works smoothly with a wired remote, and overall--the chair seems very well-built and sturdy. It was super simple to assemble, though the packaging was pretty awkward to get into the house. Oh! This chair will also stand you up! The only downside to this chair is that it is definitely NOT a "wall-hugger". It takes up quite a bit of space. On the whole, I'm liking it and may never actually make it to my bed again. :-D ... show more

There is fundamentally so much wrong with the design and functionality of this chair I couldn’t possibly list everything. If you’re a big person, it struggles at 400lbs, far less than the rated 450lbs. If you’re a tall person, it’s not for tall people. It doesn’t really lift you, it’s more like a dump truck that spills you out into the room. It’s not a wall hugger so it really needs to be out in the middle of the room and it’s massive so make sure you have a realllllly big room for it. The back doesn’t come forward enough so it’s like sitting in a hoopty where you’re always laying too far back. The butt seat is like sitting in a hole. The massagers are a complete joke. It comes in 3 boxes, the largest being 105lbs. Be prepared for this, it’s massive and heavy. Mine had been dropped somewhere along the way and the frame was bent in 2 places. I wasn’t about to package it back up and hulk it outside so I repaired it myself. It’s 6 weeks in and the frame creaks and twists when you move it. When I initially looked at the ad, there was a drawing of the mechanics of it and was touting a double lift mechanism which was the main reason I bought this model. When I got it it had no such lift and the drawing was gone from the ad. Again, I wasn’t prepared to repackage it and hulk it back outside. I would never recommend it to anyone. ... show more

When I first got the chair the base didn’t work so they replaced it. The chair worked well for a while and now 9 months later it stops working. Good chair just doesn’t last very long. Update- Aside from the base no longer working after 9 months it is a comfortable chair. First of all if are buying this Chair and think it is the same quality of a $2000 or $1000 Lazy Boy or other high quality chair DO NOT BUY IT. This chair is ok and does what it is supposed to do, nothing wrong just adequate. It is an inexpensive chair that should last 5 years or so with average use. While it may require some initial adjustment, it is worth noting that the footrest and chair back operate independently, unlike many other recliners. The motors controlling the foot, back, and lift functions operate quietly, and the controls are user-friendly and backlit. Additionally, there is a separate controller for the massage and heat functions, although it is slightly more complex to operate and lacks backlighting. It is important to mention that this chair requires two power outlets – one for the chair's functions and another specifically for the massage/heat features. The fabric employed appears durable and well-cushioned, providing a pleasant seating experience. The chair's lift function also seems to perform effectively. While the chair's substantial weight contributes to its stability and sturdiness, it may pose challenges when attempting to move it for cleaning purposes. However, the manufacturer has thoughtfully incorporated two wheels at the back, enabling the user to lift the front of the chair and conveniently roll it around.
