Directions: Shake then pour 2 oz (8 capfuls) of this concentrate into a 16 oz sprayer then fill with tap water. Spray the infected area and surrounding skin or saturate a cloth with the solution and rub gently on the area. Avoid the eyes as it may sting. Gently wipe away any crust or debris to expose skin. DO NOT Rinse… Allow to air dry. Repeat process 2 times daily for treatment. Consult your veterinarian if conditions do not start improving in 7-10 days.

So this absolutely worked. I used it for several days and did notice a difference. My only concern is because I had to use it on my dogs back side, she was reaching around to chew and I was worried she was ingesting too much of it. I couldn't bare to put her in a cone. At first, my dog wasn’t thrilled about the spray, but she didn’t seem overly bothered by it either. After using it for a bit, it appears to have a soothing effect on her skin, which is exactly what I was hoping for. One thing to note—be sure to read the instructions carefully! It’s a concentrated formula, and you need to mix half the bottle with water before using it. That wasn’t immediately clear to me. On the plus side, she’s not licking it off, which is a huge win.     • Easy way to combat hotspots and licking
It was easy to combine the concentrate into the spray. My dog gets hotspots at time from licking and this spray has cut down on this even after only applying it a few times. All I have to do is a quick spray on the spot and then let it dry up. It's easy enough and I feel good about not using any strong medical creams on spots. ... show more

My medium-small dog was glad to get this, as he has a persistent itch near his tail. It comes with a smaller bottle of concentrate, that can be used to make two full large bottles of the substance, which is a good value.

My rescued, stray-nearly 3 year old-dog genetically has no hair at all on his chest/stomach, his back by his tail, and top of head. He has super sensitive skin and has developed dry patches of skin under his belly by legs and needed help. Thought I’d give this a try. First, it’s concentrated so a little goes a long way. It comes with a small bottle of concentrated liquid, and a (really good) spray bottle. Simply follow directions on the bottle—pour liquid into bottle, add water…screw lid tightly, shake and spray affected areas. It has a good scent, has 2 full bottles included and works as described!! Only using for a short while but have noticed less itching in my dogs. I’ll have to see how this does after a longer period of use to see how they react to it as well. So far it seems to be working and helps with the dry skin, seeing less flakes on one of them too.

I mixed up a spray bottle of this according to the instructions and brushed it into my dog’s itchiest areas. I didn’t care for the smell of it much while it was wet, but it dried without a strong scent. The dog does seem a bit more comfortable and less itchy. I honestly wonder if itching is a habit for him. He’s done it since I got him, and he’s had all his health checks. Fortunately he doesn’t make hot spots that need to heal, but he just seems to have dry skin. I do think this is helpful and plan to use it more, especially in the winter when it’s dry and even my skin gets itchy. No, probably won’t use it on myself… I think it’s a helpful product and seems safe enough. ... show more

My parent's dog has terrible allergies and gets hot spots on his rear end so I was happy to see this product available. I love that it is a concentrate that comes with a separate sprayer application bottle. The application bottle is very nice and the spray action is very smooth. Sprayed it on the dog's bottom, kept him from licking it for 5 minutes to let it set in and he seems to be less anxious/touchy feely about the hot spot. Hopefully this continues so we can get rid of the hot spots completely! ... show more
