This is a great red dot from canik! Love the auto features and the curved frame. Can cock the slide back using the sight without touching the glass if done properly. I own a canik mete series 9mm, and it fits nice and flush on it and the esthetic is very sexy. It also claims to come pre-zeroed (especially for canik models), and it seems to be. At least very close. I haven't taken it to the range and shot with it yet, but will update once I do. The price is very nice for the quality. I also love that this mecanik on my mete series canik 9mm, is able to co-witness with my iron sights. Very nice red dot I can tell so far, and would recommend trying it out. Especially if you own a canik. I've seen great video reviews with this model working great on other brand handguns as well. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Much better than you would expect from a Turkish company or at this price point. The auto adjustment Works in less than a quarter of a second. Visibility is very clear build quality seems high the site picture is great I can't speak for battery life as I've only had it a few months but the stated is like 6 or 7 year. It is on the small side but it is meant for a concealed carry weapon. Have zero issues with it and would highly recommend

This item came very well packaged from Amazon, as well as great company packing as well. All items were included, including mounting screws, tools, handbook, battery, etc. It's a very well made item, solid aluminum and the battery can be changed without removing the sight from the weapon, so a battery change does not require re-zeroing. It also shuts off and on automatically by motion detection, so no need to remove the battery when not in use. It also comes zeroed to the Canik Mete MC9L. If I had one slight criticism is that the battery cover is very fine threaded and because a screw driver is blocked by the housing on top from going straight down to the center of the cover, it wants to cross thread. It takes a little tinkering to prevent that and the cover goes on easily once it is properly started. I plan to try it with two pieces of a pointed dowel and turning the cover from each side at once. Do NOT force it.

Mounted on my MC9, works good with features of $500 units (shake-awake, auto-off, auto-brightness, 60000 battery life, top battery change, brightness adjustable, etc. Problem is you have semi-line-up the see thru iron sight to acquire the red dot. This is due to the small window of the unit. It works well in bright sunlight conditions. I also mounted a laser green dot under the barrel. I can acquired the green dot faster than the hologram red dot. Problem is, the green faded out by bright sunlight at 20 feet and beyond. So I kept both mounted on my MC9. LOL

Bought this product after a lot of research into other brands. Installation was easy and mounts perfectly to a Hellcat. The optic comes with some beefy bolts to hold it to the weapon. The fox ear form factor is also useful to protect the glass from drop damage and is sturdy enough to table-rack. The auto-off is perfectly timed and is a neat feature for the sale price I paid! First 10 shots were a disaster. The red dot had obviously lost zero after the first 4 rounds and by the tenth, it had lost tension on the battery entirely and therefore, lost power. I followed the installation guidelines to the letter including using my torque driver to accurately get the recommended torque. I figured I’d apply loctite and try again, but the optic doesn’t sit snug to the firearm anymore. It wobbles and absolutely does not hold zero. It seems like the stock bolts are too long for the wells in the slide. ***Update*** After consulting with Canik, they pointed out some Hellcat Pro Optic bolts that can be purchased directly from Springfield's store. While the Springfield specifically calls out compatibility for the Shield and JPoint optics, they mount PERFECTLY with the Canik. The screws sit flush and the optic is even more secure than it was with the stock bolts. So far, no issues with loosening bolts!!
