Don't be fouled by the description. It is not true. The only solid construction are the legs, but the cheap plastic part of the chair added by this company is unacceptable. These seats provide no back support (as advertised): If you lean back - it's like falling backwards. The material is too flimsy to support an average adult's weight. You are reclining - and not in a comfortable way. No back problem yet? Just wait. If your dinner guest are not returning - it's not your cooking. We bought chairs of this kind years ago. Love them. They came with exactly the same legs, but the seat was made out of heavy duty material which is comfy and sturdy. In all this years, no cracks or brocken parts at all, as other buyers of these chairs from this company experienced. We just wanted to add two more chairs, but we were fooled by the similar look und description. No idea, where the great rating and Amazon CHOICE is coming from. YES, if you like the design, buy them. You will not regret it, just stay away from the Brand: CangLong. Use another Company.

I saw identical versions of these at TJMaxx, I fell in love. The design has an Ikea look and feel to it. I ended up purchasing these from Amazon & saving a few bucks, like $30ish compared to if I had purchased in store. I also wanted a different color than what I saw in the store. I like the gray, it matches the décor in the children's room. My two older teens share a room. My husband many years ago had built them a huge desk that they both can sit at, they sit directly across from each other. I was using antique chairs that I repainted but they were smaller. With the situation concerning the schools, we quickly had to roll with the punches. I need the two smaller antique chairs for my youngest, setting them up with their own areas for virtual, so I was looking for replacements for the chairs I had for my two older teens, and these were perfect. They love them, they said they are more comfortable, bigger, & so far the chairs have proved to be sturdy. Amazon delivered right to our door! The young men were super polite! My husband helped the girls put the chairs together (they wanted to do it themselves), instructions were clear, they didn't have any issues & everything came together beautifully. They are very proud... and so am I. I am very pleased with my purchase, I didn't have one problem with shipping, packaging, or delivery. Please note; I purchased these in Dec., I wanted to wait on writing the review to be sure they were indeed sturdy-and they most definitely are.

Great for the price. Somewhat smaller than expected (almost child sizes) and the plastic on the back is a little more flexible than expected, some may call it flimsy, but overall decent quality and very easy to set up. The only reason I have issue with the size is that I bought them for additional seating in my office and they are a little precarious for grown men to sit in. As a female lawyer in a large office chair behind my desk, I do not mind so much having opposing counsel feel somewhat awkward sitting in a small chair in front of me during negotiations, but it all depends on the purposes you require it for.

I bought four chairs for my home office/school room. Let me start off by saying for the price of these four chairs my expectations were not high. I’m aware you get what you pay for and I was ready not to be blown away. Now, for an average of $25 a chair...when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is above average. It came with the legs already assembled which was awesome. All I had to do was attach the seat and it was ready to be sat on. I do like how the wood portion of the chair is left untreated. Meaning they could be painted or stained or just rub some mineral oil on it to add some character. My only complain would be the plastic chair itself is not strong enough to comfortably lean back. My kids do just fine but for my husband and I there is some significant flex to the back. Overall I am happy with this purchase. They will do for this homeschool mom on a budget.

These chairs were the perfect addition to our new ski condo. We replaced old country style chairs and these gave that perfect modern flair to the dining room. The chairs came packaged well and it took about 20 minutes to assemble all 4. Each chair requires 4 screws and it comes with the allen wrench for assembly. The directions are clear and easy if you've ever put together furniture before you will be fine. The only thing that was slightly annoying is the chair legs come with shrink wrapped type plastic which is good because they aren't getting scratched but a huge pain to remove. We ended up taking it off only one chair and just giving up and leaving it on the other chair legs. It kind of works because it gives a shiny quality to the legs that almost looks polished.

These are good chairs . I got them for my kids desks. They are comfortable and fairly easy to assemble . It took me about 5 minutes. They’re easy to clean as well , which is a plus if they’re going to get lots of use. The only flaw is they feel like the screws get loose every once in a while. I’m not sure how to remedy that . Otherwise they are great and worth the price.

He is very satisfied with them, states they are comfortable and we’re easy to set up. He is a thin guy, approximately 150 pounds so cannot speak to how sturdy they would Before larger people but he is fully satisfied with them.
