I absolutely love the four chairs; they complement the table I recently purchased perfectly. Chairs look remarkably pretty. The only significant drawback is the installation process, which is not particularly easy. The main issue lies in the unclear installation instructions, resulting in some initial time investment to set up the first chair. However, once the first chair is assembled, the subsequent ones are relatively quick to install It took me approximately 70 minutes to install the first chair, but only 15-20 minutes for the remaining three. Regrettably, I cannot give this product a 5-star rating, not due to the installation, but a few flaws upon arrival, such as a broken rubber ring on one of them and a slight scratch with a small stain on another. Fortunately, these issues do not significantly impact the chair's functionality, so I can still award it four stars. ... show more

I got these for my kids playroom. The chairs are not meant to be leaned in (by adults, anyway). The backs are pretty weak and will bend. My only issue while assembling was the bracket assembly, so I’ve attached a photo to help if needed.

As an IKEA veteran, I thought this would be pretty straightforward. Looking back, it was, but the pictures are of no help. There’s 4 pictures showing instructions, 1 of which is the chair already built. For the price, though, it was worth the headache. It’s pretty sturdy and looks stylish without the huge price tag. Cute enough for our granddaughter. It's a small chair, about a foot shorter in the back compared to a small parsons chair. Simple 10 min tops to assemble. Don't know why so many complained about the assembly. Just look at the photo on the instructions. The black L shaped bracket in particular. (2 face outward and 2 inward) Line up the the seat bottom with the leg assembly. Put the washers on the screw and put the screw through the L shaped bracket and tighten each a little at a time. We ordered this same style from Wayfair a few years back and over time pieces would break. We finally needed to buy more but didn’t want want to splurge. These were inexpensive and just the style we wanted. Sturdy enough, but I won’t be allowing anyone to lean back in them or anything. They feel dependable to a point, so we’re just careful with them. Sometimes my little kids stand on them and that feels a little iffy to me - I think they’d too over in that scenario if you’re not careful. They look good and are as comfortable as any other shell chair, and easy to clean. If something doesn’t wipe off right away, a magic eraser does the trick.
