These attractive chairs require minimal assembly. They look nice and are reasonably stable. The cushioning is minimal. They are quite firm and flat not soft and cushy. I don't mind but others find them not comfortable for extended sitting. They are fine for the average sized person but ifvyou are very tall or heavy they are not the best.. ... show more

    • Nice spare chairs
I work from home and my office is half of a large somewhat finished basement. The other side of the space my office is in belongs to my craft/sewing space (someday I'll put some walls up), but we also have a living room/media room, a bar, etc. so we need a lot of seats down there. These tend to end up in my office a lot, and I will say they are not the most comfortable chairs for extended sitting, but they do fine for visits and such. My kids tend to come into my office and catch up with me towards the end of the work day, so they'll bring a chair in to sit a chit chat, or if I'm sewing on a weekend, they'll slide them over to that space. I also use them when I'm quilting to help hold the weight of the quilt that would otherwise fall off the table, the fabric on the chairs kind of grabs on and prevents the quilts from sliding off the chairs and onto the floor. The cats also approve, I keep a small towel draped over them for the inevitable cat nap, that keeps the fur from sticking. They work great for our purposes. ... show more

This is a great bargain for both chairs. I have these in my home beauty room at the vanity desk. They feel great and very comfortable. They go perfectly with my decor color scheme and was easy to assemble.
