Description

The new portable butane gas stove is a handy cooker perfect for camping, alfresco cooking, or as a backup emergency stove. Light weight, easy to used. Highly Recommend. This one burner was great for our morning coffee while tent camping. Light weight. Easy to use. Quick to light. Quick cool down as well. Just recently took the stove on a camping trip and it worked flawlessly every time I needed it. It did not use as much butane as I thought as well. You may need a wind blocker if you are in the open and there is a strong wind, otherwise great product, what more can you ask for. I like how easy it is to assemble and use. We are able to heat food that once would have been eaten cold. It takes up very little space and the butane fuel is easy to find. It came quickly and worked right out of the box. Very easy to setup and use, just one connector to attach to the grill & tank, no electricity needed. Fire was precise & hot. Made a steak the first time with it right at the local park. Affordable & would recommend. The heat of 7,200btu/hr is enough for outdoor travel, BBQ, fishing, and camping. The built-in lever ensures that the butane can is set correctly and locks the canister in place to prevent unwanted leakage. Prevent flame from being extinguished by wind, and keep your food cooking at a steady temperature. Comes equipped with an easy-to-use and adjust heat dial. Turn the dial to control the heat from a simmer to a full boil. How to install the butane canister in the portable camping stove? 1. Open the cover. 2. Match the hole of the canister and the protuberance then push the canister down, lock the canister. 3. Close the cover. 4. Push the gas lock down. 5. Push the knob inside then turn it left. Does the CAMPLUX butane stove come with a carrying case? Yes, this camping gas stove comes with a carrying case, it's lightweight and portable. Can the CAMPLUX camping propane stove be used for indoor cooking? The CAMPLUX camping propane stove is primarily designed for outdoor use, it is not recommended to use it indoors. I've never used a butane stove; I've always used your basic Coleman propane stove. Mine is very old; like over 40 years old; so I needed something new and wanted something much smaller. I wanted a single burner stove and when I found this one that you could use propane or butane with, I thought it was a no brainer. I tried it over the weekend winter camping in my new tent and it worked GREAT! I only used butane in it which is why I rated it 4 stars; I don't know how it will perform with propane or how the set-up with that will be but with butane, it worked like a charm. I can't imagine it will be any different using propane outside of needing more room for it since the propane bottle sits outside of the stove like a Coleman stove does. The butane bottle is installed inside of this stove so you only need enough room for the burner itself. The flame was easily adjustable and the auto start worked on the first try. ... show more

    • Great burner, easy to use!
Color: Black
We purchased this to use at our local farmer's market for heating water and it works great! It's compact, portable, and easy to set up and use. We will likely take it on camping trips as well, it has many uses. Highly recommended!

    • Works well, but with some issues of quality. You get what you pay for.

The underside of the stove is completely open, and can potentially melt or damage the surface the stove sits on while operating. I will be attaching metal underneath. The legs underneath are hard smooth plastic, that slips around on my table. I will be adding rubber stoppers underneath for grip (for my safety). Case arrived damaged on the corner, but I just taped it up. Case is very flimsy. The hose for propane works well. I used this to connect to a large 20lb cylinder, using a different converter added into the converter hose included. Works well with propane. Worth the cheap price ... show more

    • Love, love, love this stove!!! And I have had many camping stoves
Color: Black
I purchased this stove for car camping even though I have several stoves already. I wanted the ability to use butane or propane so I could buy the green Coleman propane canisters. My other camping stoves use harder to find canisters. Did I need this stove? No. But I decided to buy it anyway, and I am so happy that I did! I used it during some very cold weather in the winter while car camping in the desert. The built in igniter is wonderful, no hunting for a lighter when it is cold and dark out. The flame control is as good as my gas stove at home. I used the propane adapter and kept the stove connected to the propane tank the entire time I was camping. I found this easy to store, and easy to use. Water boiled very fast, even outside in 40 degree weather. The stove had plenty of heat to cook my meals, and I often used it on the lower settings to avoid burning meals. I like the flexibility of using propane or butane. The low height of the stove meant it was much safer to use as you can't accidentally tip it over like some camping stoves. Wind was a small issue that was easily solved by using a windscreen. I am very happy with this purchase, and expect to use it for years to come as I continue to car camp. It is well worth the extra $10 for the propane adapter. ... show more

I bought this one specifically because I wanted it in a case. However the case is broken. The stove works fine though. Also felt a little cheated as every picture has butane in it.
