I purchased this last July, worked great, and in the fall I put in the house to store it from the elements. I pulled it out last week and there is massive water leaking (see pics) so I reach out to Camplux for help. Camplux Technical Team email me and say they will not cover my part because of, "....freeze damage." They didn't care what I said, they would not replace the part. But they did send me a link to Amazon for the replacement part, and it is on BACKORDER. So now I have a Camplux that is NOT operational, I'm out $180.00 and if I want to use it, I have to order the part from a company in China and it will arrive at the end of July. If you're open to spending almost $200 for a disposable product with NO technical support, this is the product for you. One summer of use and then plan to throw it away because Camplux won't be there to help you resolve any issues. UPDATED 6-26-23: Camplux Customer Service went above and beyond to overcome the shortcomings of their Technical Support team. They immediately jumped in, handled my situation, and instead of sending me a part, sent me an entirely new unit. I used it last night and I honestly can say I'm impressed! Was nervous at first when purchasing this product, but I went with camplux because of the great reviews and it definitely paid off unit shipped quick and works amazingly, burns consistently keeping the temperature right where you want it! Bought this for camping. I tested it and it works as it should but I noticed that when the water pressure/flow is low (had it hooked up to a garden hose) the water gets really hot. Easily burning the skin if you aren't careful. Otherwise at full flow it's great.

I bought this for horse camping. It was a total waste of a meaningful sum of money. First trip, took forever to light but worked great once it did. Second trip, wouldn’t light. I ran out a 40-gallon tank trying to get it to light and it just wouldn’t. I thought it might be the propane tank or regulator hose so I bought both new. Still wouldn’t light. I contacted Amazon and GO FIGURE it was a few weeks past the return date. I contacted the manufacturer and they wanted me to take the cover off and do all these manual troubleshooting things. Long story short, just don’t get one. Now I’m stuck with a cold shower. ... show more

I bought this to rinse off before getting into our hot tub. It was fairly easy to set up and heats up the water quickly. So long as there is no wind whatsoever. If it's even a little bit breezy, the flame is blown out and the water gets ice cold again. Other than that, it is a really great little unit. Just be sure to protect it from wind, and it will do it's job well! ... show more

I bought this so I could wash my dogs outside. The setup is a little intimidating, at first, but you just have to hook it up and give it a whirl. I love how when you turn the water on, it just turns on by itself. The 5 foot hose is a little short for my taste, but I will rig something up myself. It really does the job and I am really glad I made the investment. My dogs love it, too. ... show more

    • Works just like it should!
Very easy to set up and operate. I paired this up with a 16 gallon tank and a 12 volt water pump running at 35 PSI. Hot water within seconds and no noticeable cold spots during use. Also of note: it can run on a 1 pound propane bottle using a “steak-saver” adaptor (bought elsewhere…. Not included). I can get 3-4 good Navy showers from 1 small bottle and not have to worry about storing a 20 pound tank in limited space. The water inlet and outlet are standard 1/2” NPT fittings if you are plumbing into a system. They also include adapters for standard garden hose threads. Fits my needs perfectly! ... show more
