The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product for specifically doing a trial run on making black walnut syrup. First, I was able to put together in minutes without my husband's help. Second, this thing is way more sturdy than I thought it would be. Third, it holds a decent amount of wood and sticks but it is a learning curve for getting them in for a hot burn that lasts more than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend and plan on purchasing a few more for having on hand for some other projects or camping needs. My only wish is it was about 2 inches longer. If you're on the fence about purchasing, just buy... you'll be happy you did!

The media could not be loaded. Works just as described, the only reason I didn’t give it a five is the ambers fall underneath the grate and if the wood is slightly damp, it won’t catch fire and the coals don’t touch it.

I assembled this in 2.5 minutes the first time, and less than 2 minutes the second time. Cleaned up with damp rag, stores easily in provided bag. I keep with me in car when I travel in the winter out west.

First off, I spend alot of time in the woods, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing. And I have several of these types of smaller stoves. Alot of them are much smaller, and less robust. This thing, OMG, is a beast! A true David vs Goliath scenario. It's bigger than all those smaller version, and the steel is much thicker. The reason I purchased this item was for the large Cast Iron skillets we take camping. And let me tell ya, it handled them with ease. You can build bigger fires, and use bigger skillets. It's a win win! Would definitely purchase again.

I got this yesterday and it literally took me 10 minutes to put together. Seems heavy duty so hopefully it will last a long time. Both for emergency use and roasting marshmallows!

The wood stove was easy to assemble and was well designed for drafting of the air to create and keep the fire burning. I bought it to use car camping so the weight is not an issue. The con: the fold out prongs to form the cook stove top moved and were unstable when cooking. The diameter of my fire maple kettle was too small and it tipped spilling water. I fixed this by placing a 6’’ grate on top of the folding prongs. This fixed the unstable cooking surface. The tray at the front of the stove to brace longer pieces of wood sagged and required a stick to brace it so it was level. I’m happy with the purchase and will put it into use for my off grid lifestyle
