For what I paid i was half expecting to recieve some lightweight, flimsy shears but I am surprised by the quality! These bad boys are sharp! I bought them for my synthetic wigs to clear up the matting underneath and it cut through the fibers with ease and my wigs look great! I'm left handed but I was able to use these with no awkwardness. I have a ton of very fine hair that I used to get layered and thinned at a salon for years. Long story short, I'm trying to avoid the salon and do it all myself. I used Brad Mondo's YouTube tutorial for a wolf cut and then bought these bad boys to thin 'er out. Worked beautifully. My hair was matting up underneath for months and since thinning my hair a week ago it hasn't matted at all. And you can't even tell looking at it that I did it myself. They cut crisp and clean and the storage sleeve is handy. The comb is extremely cheaply made and came completely bent, but I have tons of combs so I wasn't worried about it. ... show more

I bought this because the reviews were pretty good, and people said it was good for lefties. But they aren't that sharp and would mostly just fold my hair instead of cutting it. And they're pretty uncomfortable to hold in my left hand. Might be okay for righties.
