For some reason, female to female 1/4" thread connector are hard to find, since there are a LOT of 1/4" to 3/4" adapter available, but only a hand full of those. Good for adapting some extra gear to my tripod, which needed one of those in order to work. A bit on the pricey side though for what you get. But again, since those are very uncommon, I guess the price point kind of make sense. At least they looks nice, and feels very sturdy and well made. Once used, they are literally invisible if using black gear with them.

Throw it in a bag and when you need extra versatility, you probably have the right adapter or combination to complete the task. I was very pleased that these adapters turned out to be as good as they appeared on Amazon's page! VERY well-built and robust with precision threads that fit perfectly. I needed these for microphone stands that had 3/8th sized screws, but had accessories I wanted to use that had 1/4 in mounts. These adapters did the trick in spades and are VERY secure. The brass construction of the adapters should make these last forever. It's a STRONG FIVE STARS for me, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy them again if I needed more. I can honestly and VERY heartily recommend these...especially at the value price offered on Amazon.
