I've seen a few of these shutter buttons on many cameras and wanted to try it. I received the button overnight and installed it on my Canon AE-1. Other than looking great, the shutter functions smoother for me. You can feel the shutter faster and depress it quickly due to the higher trigger point. The materials seem very durable, and I like the texture on the edge of the button. After using the shutter button for a few photo shoots, I need to ensure the button doesn't become too loose and fall off. It has fallen off a couple of times during my shoots. That's due to not over tightening the button since i have a trigger cable I like to switch to on the shutter occasionally. It's not a big deal, but I am aware and constantly ensure the button is tight. If had anymore vintage cameras, I would buy a button for each camera. ... show more

This shutter release button is the perfect size for use with my Fuji X-T5 mirrorless camera. The small o-ring helps to prevent the button from unscrewing. The red color is very helpful. When I asked someone to take a photo of us, she asked "Do I press the red button?" The color catches my eye, for finding the shutter button, and the ribs on the side of the button give feedback to my index finger that my finger has found the shutter button. This was the second shutter release cap that I ordered and I like the feel much better than the first - more secure, less wobbly. I can definitely recommend it. The quality is good but this is not the first time I was carrying the camera and went to shoot and the shutter button backed out and was lost. This is something that needs to be checked on.
