I absolutely LOVE this jacket! It's reasonably priced & is everything you'd want for a winter coat. It's SUPER warm, has a detachable hoodie (if you're like me & not a big fan of hoods except in extreme weather but not for everyday use) has a few pockets that are all zipper protected, the zippers themselves are SO smooth to use and the cuffs are adjustable as well. (I personally love the thumb holes because it keeps the wind out from blowing up your sleeve) Lately we've been in single digit temperatures & I'm thankful for this jacket when I'm outside. When I'm in stores, I'm actually sweating because it's so well insulated. As for the size, I wasn't sure if I should get a LG or XL because I'm sort of in between those sizes with clothing but I went with the XL because you want a little wiggle room with a coat & it's perfect. Fits great with extra movability if I'm layered up. Love it! And not that it's a big deal but the packaging was super nice as well. Comes in a nice zipped up bag that I promptly put the detached hoodie in for safe storage. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this jacket if you're looking a nice looking, warm jacket at a reasonable price.

After returning several waterproof 3-in-1 winter coats (Land’s End, Columbia, and Halley Hansen), this is the one I am finally keeping. I like the violet color (though I wish the two jackets had complementary colors to change things up when you wear them separately) and it is warm without being ridiculously bulky. I have the unique issue whereby I sit on a mobility scooter to walk my hyperspaz poodle rain or shine in the northwest and was having problems with water pooling on my lap and seeping through the zipper area among other things. Wearing this (shorter) jacket with a pair of rain pants (I got Mountain Hardware ones) finally seems to be working for me and less than the cost of the other returned coats. I’ve worn both the shell and the inner puffer by themselves in moderate rainfall and seemed to stay dry, although my elbows felt a bit cool in the shell so I think the seam leaked a little. I do like the pockets for the most part. I wish the puffer had an inner security pocket as well. Also, be aware that if you wear the two jackets together, you have to partially unzip both the main zipper and the liner from the shell to access the inner media pocket. All my objects in the pockets have stayed dry so far. Size is fine though I wish the sleeves were longer. The assembly is a little awkward; you have to turn the puffer inside-out to zip it into the shell.

I got this for my daughter, who is 11 and growing like a weed so having to get her a new coat almost every year. This year she started wearing adult sized clothes. I bought her a pair of sandals from this company and was really pleased with the quality so when I saw this on sale on Black Friday I snagged one. I like that it doesn't have a brand tag on the outside, and the jacket is well made. Details like the internal sleeves with the thumbhole see important. The hood is substantial and it's nice and soft inside. Happy with this purchase. Definitely order up a size though, it runs a bit small. I had a feeling it would and so I ordered a size up and the small fits her perfectly. She is five four and weighs about 100 pounds or so. I am actually so pleased with it that I added one to my Christmas wishlist for me.

Best jacket I have bought online so far ! It looks bulky but it really isn't too bulky at all the pockets are great the hood is big so it has good coverage on your head wore it in heavy rain and I did not get wet one bit the inside has a lining that's super soft and warm
