Our Pop up tent had a couple of tears in the top. Hated to just throw it away since there are no replacements for it. Thought I'd try this. Had bought it for "just in case, on the road repair" for our truck camper awning. My husband was secptable when I bought it but has now said glad we had it. We had to put this on the Pop up tent in lousy weather so we could cut some wood on a table saw. Managed to get it on smoothly on the outside facing the elements covering the tears that were 2-4" long. First, I don’t own an awning of any kind, damaged or otherwise. I purchased this tape for a small indoor greenhouse. It consists of heavy plastic covering with a metal rod frame. Over time the plastic “wall” separated from the zipper, allowing warm humid air to escape. Regular tape was useless and a nw cover, in the size I needed, was unavailable. I saw this tape and purchased it. It is exactly what was needed. It has amazing adhesive. Amazing! I repaired the plastic sheeting and my humid-loving plants (ferns, orchids, Red Dragon fly trap) are enjoying a stable friendly environment. I have read that people have received rolls that are yellow. Ours was also, but once unrolled it was clear. Like that it is wider and much cheaper than what I can buy in the store. Have used on awning and slide out toppers. Our RV is 13 years old and small tears are popping up. This works great.

Taped the whole length of the awning about a foot wide. It was cracked due to age with many holes. The tape is on there for six month now, sitting in the sun and had a few road trips.
