I bought this camera mainly for my home office. Every once in a while I would come back and notice that something had been moved or was out of place, and I honestly started wondering if I was just forgetting that I had moved things myself. I wanted an easy way to actually see what was happening instead of guessing. After setting this one up, I’ve been really impressed. The pan and tilt feature is probably my favorite because I can remotely look around the entire office instead of having a camera permanently pointed at one spot. The motion tracking is also very useful when someone moves through the room. The 1080p video is clear enough for what I need, and the night vision is surprisingly good. I especially like that it can provide color night vision instead of only a dark black-and-white image. The instant motion notifications are another big plus because I can check my phone right away if something happens. I also like that it has two-way audio, so I can actually talk through the camera when needed. Since it plugs in, I don't have to worry about constantly charging a battery, which is important for a camera I want running 24/7. The fact that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi is another nice touch, and the weather-resistant design makes it flexible enough to use outdoors as well. Local MicroSD storage is also a big advantage for me because I don't necessarily want to pay for a monthly subscription just to keep recordings. I originally bought it just to keep an eye on my office, but after using it I'm considering replacing some of my other cameras with these. The combination of PTZ control, motion tracking, night vision, remote access, alerts, and continuous plug-in power makes this a very versatile camera for the price. So far, it has given me exactly what I wanted: instead of wondering whether I moved something myself, I can simply check the camera and know what happened. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade from a basic fixed camera.

The human recognition does not work on humans at all. It picks out moving branches, shadows, leaves, moving rope, and tried every combination of sensitivity adjustments known to man, and nothing changed. Will not pick out human forms.

I didn't even want to give this system 1 star. NVR quite working after 4 months. Took 2 months to get a new one and the new one is not the same as the old one and doesn't have the 500 GB that the original one had.

When I ordered these, there were zero ratings/reviews. New product, thought I would take the gamble and be one of the first to give this a try! Was a decent price for what it promised. This was set up for a detached garage 50 feet away from the back of the house. I keep the base station in the house. The camera 'signal strength' only show 2 bars for each, and they tend to skip. This is 50 feet away, with 2 walls between, and open yard. While the product listing doesnt make any claims to distance, I thought I would mention it for others as a gauge. It works for my needs (keeping an eye on the garage door, and car). Quirky Quirks: Trying to control the 'movement' of the camera to angle them is a pain. If you quickly 'tap' a move button, it moves a big distance. But if you tap and hold and let up, it moves for how long you did that, but you cannot quickly tap for a fine adjustment, as it will then move a huge distance again. With the signal delay, its hard to gauge when to lift to get it right. You spend a LOT of time moving back n forth until it FINALLY lands at the right position you want it at. After so much fussing, you don't want to touch the movement keys again. This issue could be fixed with a software update I'm sure. There is no way to simply manually "start recording now!". Like if you see something going on, and the preset 'recording schedule' isnt on or doesn't kick in for motion. The only way you can get it to start recording manually, is to dive through the menu system, to the schedules, and setup a schedule to record everything always for the camera, and hope by the time you are done it recorded what you wanted it too. Bad UI choice to leave out a manual 'record now/stop recording' button. And again, I'm sure a software update could resolve that. After awhile of testing, and moving the base station around, I discovered that signal strength can cause an odd speckling effect on the feed. If you notice white speckle dots on the feed, its getting interference from being too far away. It clears up, and with a stronger signal, it stays away. Customer Support: They really go out of their way to help. Fairly proactive and responsive, even if some issues are just not fixable at the moment (software issues). Means they are interested in the products they sell and try to do what they can to help out. Thats a fairly rare trait in businesses these days. Overall: The base station has a lot of other features, and most are not described in the paper manual that came with it. Have to hunt for details online... or just use trial and error to figure them all out. A lot of various settings for the alarm behavior, some confusing. The unit itself is simple plastics, which I'm guessing is to keep the costs down. I'm not sure how long the one camera I put outdoors will actually last outdoors. Its under an eave, so its not in direct sunlight, or direct line of rain... so hoping it lasts long enough. The other camera is inside the garage, to keep an eye on the car and doors. Overall, for the price, and nice touchscreen that comes with it to put up on a wall to easily glance at, its a good buy. Just needs some ... software refinements. Thus why I can only stick with a 4 star rating.

The video clarity an ease of setup was a welcome surprise. The cameras synced easily on the first try and the app is working smoothly on both the Apple (iPhone 12) and Android (Moto Razr +). I did not expect the video to be so sharp and it is clear on the included monitor. It even has color in low light after sunset. The cameras are fully pan tilt and zoom and can be controlled by the monitor and the phones remotely. I did not notice a jack to output the video from the 7" touchscreen monitor a larger TV or monitor. I also did not notice a way to connect the video to ALEXA. The price was great and the quality is awesome. It came with two wireless cameras that only needed power needed DC from the included adapters. I bought a third (optional on Amazon) camera and it connected perfectly. I would buy this system again for my other home because it is complete, discreet and simple.
