Description

Calyx Interiors Room Darkening Mini Blinds are the perfect solution for when you want the simplicity of a mini blind, but want to block more sun than the standard mini blind. This light gray blind will provide a crisp, clean look to any room or living space, while also offering 100% privacy when slats are closed. The vinyl slat composition will perform well in rooms that have some moisture, such as kitchens or bathrooms. Calyx Interiors Room Darkening Mini Blinds can be easily cared-for by simply dusting or using soap and water. If you plan to mount on the inside your window-recess, the inset area around your window, you will need to order a blind that is at least 1/4 inches smaller than your width measurement so that the blind can move easily up and down. Also, for inside mounting make certain that you have 3/4" inches of depth to install the mounting bracket. For all mounting types, 7/8 inch of flat space is needed for mounting hardware.

I have tried a couple different brands from Amazon and Home Depot and these are my favorite by far! They were easy to install, even though after installing several I’m getting better at it too!! What I like most is they are light weight and push up and pull down and close with ease and are still very sturdy. The others have been heavy and bulky and do not go up and down very easily. Wanted inexpensive blinds but could NOT install as is because tension box inside blinds on top right side interferes with mounting bracket. To install you can place the left mounting bracket on the left (normal) and the right mounting bracket in the middle (not normal). I decided to hacksaw some plastic away from the tension box that sits on the right side and was able to mount the blind on the right mounting bracket but with some force. The product and concept are great but falls short on quality in the brackets. Easy to bend making them pretty useless for what they are designed to do. Put the slightest downward force and they give. "Room darkening" is a subjective thing. They are not black out, but of course they darken the room. I like how they raise and lower without a cord. They look very nice. Would recommend.
