For a 22.5" wide blind, your window should measure between 22.75" to 23.5" wide, allowing for a snug fit with minimal light gaps. Next, measure the height from the top of the window to the windowsill on the left, middle, and right sides, and use the largest height measurement when placing your order.

Description
Calyx Interiors Room Darkening Mini Blinds are the perfect solution for when you want the simplicity of a mini blind, but want to block more sun than the standard mini blind. This light gray blind will provide a crisp, clean look to any room or living space, while also offering 100% privacy when slats are closed. The vinyl slat composition will perform well in rooms that have some moisture, such as kitchens or bathrooms. Calyx Interiors Room Darkening Mini Blinds can be easily cared-for by simply dusting or using soap and water. If you plan to mount on the inside your window-recess, the inset area around your window, you will need to order a blind that is at least 1/4 inches smaller than your width measurement so that the blind can move easily up and down. Also, for inside mounting make certain that you have 3/4" inches of depth to install the mounting bracket. For all mounting types, 7/8 inch of flat space is needed for mounting hardware.

Well made and do darken room

I have tried a couple different brands from Amazon and Home Depot and these are my favorite by far! They were easy to install, even though after installing several I’m getting better at it too!! What I like most is they are light weight and push up and pull down and close with ease and are still very sturdy. The others have been heavy and bulky and do not go up and down very easily. I’m sticking with this brand for the rest of my windows and will probably replace my others too. Of course they also look nice!!

Not Good Design

Wanted inexpensive blinds but could NOT install as is because tension box inside blinds on top right side interferes with mounting bracket. To install you can place the left mounting bracket on the left (normal) and the right mounting bracket in the middle (not normal). I decided to hacksaw some plastic away from the tension box that sits on the right side and was able to mount the blind on the right mounting bracket but with some force. It does interfere a little with the tension function.

Brackets Cheaply Made

The product and concept are great but falls short on quality in the brackets. Easy to bend making them pretty useless for what they are designed to do. Put the slightest downward force and they give. Not ideal, look for a better bracket. Do not recommend the brackets, several years ago they were much more robust. Now myeh.
