I received my compressor in February and in April it broke. A part of the purge system cracked and broke emptying the tank and leaving the pump running until I arrived at the shop and shut it down. The part that broke was clearly over torqued during assembly and the quality of the brass material looks suspect. I submitted a service request as instructed and after a week of leaving messages I never heard anything. For a product that claims it is high quality and a company that claims high customer service this purchase has been extremely disappointing. I purchased this tool as my old Campbell Hausfeld was acting up after 19 years. That model had worked fine but was so loud I always had to use hearing protection when it engaged. This time, I still wanted the 20 gallon capacity but wanted much quieter and was willing to pay 3X as much as before (discounting "inflation"). Anyway, when I first fired it up, I took off my hearing protection just to make sure it was running! In day to day use, you can hear it running, but it's not a painful noise like before. I mainly will use this for painting (LVHP) and have yet to paint yet. But for blowing air and my air nailer, this is a champ! ... show more

    • Air leaks, Case doors rattle Loudly even after adjustment.

The product seems to be well made upon first inspection, but there were a few things that were rushed and quality control doesn't seem to be very good. I am a mechanic by trade and was able to fix the issues but other people may be lost when it comes to sorting out the bugs that should have never been there in the first place. I could see these type problems from a Harbor Freight compressor ( I even expect it ) but not something in this price range. They need to work harder in the quality control department or at least hire competent people. We are talking about an air pump here, not a Le Mans engine. ... show more

Ran this compressor daily in my shop, it was very quiet with a decent recovery time, after about 15 months it started on fire, I was lucky to be in the shop when it happened or I could have had a major loss. Seller will not respond even after I have contacted Amazon, I know the warranty is one year, but replacing parts would be helpful, considering the cost of $2,400.00. I do not recommend. ... show more

This is a 2 year review. We have replaced 3 compressors so far, if you are buying this to put in your garage with no climate control it is probably going to overheat and not run. Customer service is a horrible event. We bought a new compressor to swap out with the burned up one and it lasted 20 hours. Customer service stopped replying to us and now we have to buy another compressor even though it under warranty. ... show more
