Well my first impression was not a good one. The instructions lacked detail and were incomplete. Some photos would certainly help. Although there is an exploded view of the compressor with a parts list, the images are so small and faint that it’s difficult to determine what’s what. I followed the instructions for first time start-up. I was shocked how loud this thing was! There was a noticeable hissing leak coming near the drain valve. My SPL meter registered 98dBa! Nearly 3x louder than advertised. Ok, the troubleshooting chart did mention leaks and making sure all the fitting were tight. Sure enough, the barrel connector just in front of the drain valve was loose. Supposedly, each unit is tested before shipping therefore did it loosen during shipping? Somewhat suspicious but I let it go. Read the manual further about replacing the ‘Air Filters’ will be necessary at some point. Because these filters get dirty and play a part in the quiet operation of the unit. Eureka! There were two screw-in canisters provided but had no information about what they are and where they go. The assembly instructions had nothing. Screwed them into each cylinder head and Bazinga! The compressor is running at 73dBa. I did feel like a bit of a dope because I had these things and should have guessed they were important. But guess not important enough to pre-install or have instructions to install them. 🙄 Otherwise, it appears to operate as it should. I’ll amend this review in the future when I have more experience with the machine. ... show more

Using this unit in a 3 chair dental office. Usually only two hand pieces in use at any one time. The unit arrived damaged by the shipping company and the manufactures two day shipped the replacement part and it was easy to install the replacement part. The unit has worked flawlessly in the short term. Seems a little noisier that my old Tec-West unit but it does the job and the price is must less than the dedicated dental units sold by the Dental Supply companies. Update: unit burned out the piston sleeves and gaskets and leaked air and ran constantly after about 11 months. The company reimbursed 50% of the repair done by a local company. The unit was returned and was extremely loud and the unit was at least 1.5 times louder and was intolerable to run due to the noise. The office is only open two days per week and needless to say I wasted $1200.00 on this piece of junk. Do not waste your money buy an american made product from a respected Dental Company. ... show more

For those looking for a compressor that provides clean, dry air, this unit has good volume and commercial grade air dryer. I use it for woodworking finishes where I need to spray lacquers and blow dust off of work without water and air being transferred to my product. Great for air brush work, lacquer spray on furniture, and light air tool work, but not for heavy sanding and/or auto repair. And, as advertised, it is very quiet (likely as much as a compressor could be). Can have in the room with you, and still have a conversation. Very Satisfied! ... show more
