These metal coins are really satisfying to me. I grew up seeing gold coins (treasure) in cartoons but the ones you could get as toys were always plastic. So making metal coins like this is a good idea. I plan to use them as part of a game to play with my nephew. $7.99 for 30 coins feels like a good value. I will say that they’re very light feeling. One of these coins weighs 3.3 grams while a US quarter weighs 5.7 grams. They're close to the same diameter as quarter. They sound metallic when you jingle them around but they’re too light to feel like real currency. They feel a little bit cheap. The pouch they come in is velvety. I think it’s meant to emulate a leather coin pouch, so the velvet material makes it again feel cheap. As a kid’s toy these are great. But as an adult I notice some shortcomings quality-wise.

Just as described. They are smallish, but I knew the size when ordering. We are having a pirate treasure hunt and there will be one of these for each child. When my 6yo daughter was helping me pack the treasure chest, she grabbed these and was super impressed that they were “real coins” (because they are metal). Mission accomplished.

For the price, I can't ask for much more than this. You get a pleasant little pouch full of jingly little "fake" coins. The ridges fit together between them, although they don't stack together with high precision (they fit, but they can still jiggle around and easily get nudged out of that fit) they do still stack up well. They're made with real metal, roughly quarter-sized, and are fun to play around with.

I use Byhoo's dragon coins for a lot of my gaming sessions, and I'm very happy with them. I got these to have an alternative coin for other settings besides fantasy. They look really nice for that purpose. In particular, the shiny gold color on these coins is a lot better than the copperish color of my dragon coins. Unfortunately, when you pick them up you can immediately feel the weight difference. They are much lighter than the older Bayhoo coins. I weighed them at 5.72g vs 3.28g. The new coins are also thinner. To be fair, these coins are currently almost half the price. But I would prefer to pay more money and get a higher quality coin. So, I hope this won't be a change in all their coins going forward.

What a fun group of metal tokens. 50 of these with a classy treasure sack. These tokens have a good weight to them. The embossing on the token is strong and has a great feel to it. Playing with these make me feel like Scrooge McDuck.
