Stool is quite easy to assemble. The only problem is the holes on the seat plate do not align with the holes on the stand, for one of my stool. This means you can only bolt 3 of the 4 holes. The other stool was fine, i was able to install all 4 bolts. The quality of the chairs is ok. The one with the hole alignment issue, will cause noise, probably because the plate is not secured properly, and therefore runs against the other plate. The good chair, however, has no issue, Very sturdy. The base of the chair is also smaller than the area of the seat. This means that as you lean in any direction, there will be a lot of turning force on the welding on the base plate. I worry that this will cause a lot of bending on the weld at the base plate and will cause crack very soon. We'll see. The biggest issue with all of this is that you cannot return the chair easily. This is sold by a third party, and therefore return has to be coordinated with them, not Amazon. The seller was very responsive though. I decided not to return it nonetheless. I'll try drilling the hole a bit so the fourth bolt can be bolted in. If you are lucky and get two good chairs, then you're fine. Good price. Comfortable seat. If you get one with a hole alignment issue, then the chair will cause issues. Hopefully you get a good one! ... show more

one of the stools did not have the holes for the screws on the seat in the correct pattern so the stool could not be assembled and had to be returned. I had a problem with the return as well.

Not safe for kids, not as sturdy as it looked in the picture, but there beautiful. I used this product for my kitchen counter.

The chair is soft but while installing a dent was in the seats due to placement inside the box being pushed together. When assembling the pole to the bottom of the seat the holes were not aligned well. This only allowed me to screw in 3/4 required holes.
