I purchased this scooter in 2017 and have used it over the past five years with no problems. I did replace the batteries this year, since they were not holding the charge as well as when new. This is normal maintenance for this type of scooter. It still operates as well as it did when I first got it. The scooter makes it easy for me to go to the stores and other places that I would not be able to do if I had to walk. The scooter is fast enough for me, and easy to maneuver around. I have a lift in my van that loads the scooter into the back so that I can keep it out of the weather. That make it easy for me to load and unload it myself, so I am not dependent on others to assist me. It is much nicer to have my own scooter rather than depend on finding one of the slow clunky scooters with a basket as provided by many stores. I would buy another one of these, if needed. ... show more

I initially loved this scooter... even after I had to replace the wiring harness myself. I haven't even had it a year. Now the weld where the platform meets the tiller broke. Spinlife refuses to honor the warranty and claims the weld broke due to "normal wear and tear". It broke as I was going from my bathroom to my bedroom. I've had other scooters from a different manufacturer and they never had a weld break, not even after years of use. I'd avoid this like the plague. ... show more

    • A smooth ride...
For the most part I really like the scooter. The suspension is really nice. It makes for a very smooth ride. I read on one of the reviews the person had a problem with the way the scooter jerked when propelled forward. I almost didn’t buy it after reading it. I took a chance and I’m glad I did. My scooter starts smoothly forward and backwards. I’m feeling no jerk at all. The only complaint I have are the two bumper type plastic protrusions off the front of the footboard are doing nothing but getting in the way! I keep smacking into walls and wall molding because they’re sticking out so far. I know they’re for feet but jeez, I’m killing my walls!! :( ... show more

this scooter was bought as a xmas present for my stepdaughter. the scooter was delivered on time and in perfect condition. it rides comfortably and is pretty big, comes apart in pieces and is a little heavy.

Accelerator slow To Engage. I bought this scooter two years ago and it Did not hold up. Not heavy duty at all. The range is not correct it won't go the distance. The seat will not come off. The drive system clunks all the time. Poor quality. I bought it only because it was all I could get during covid. I really wanted a pride victory but it wasn't available. I'll have do buy a pride victory now and write this Buzz around EX off. I'm very dissatisfied with your product. ... show more

Good fit for 6 ft+. Spring suspension really softens those sidewalk bumps and at this price is exceptional. Would like to love this scooter but stupid engineering flaw that could be easily fixed takes off three stars. The speed control programming is horrible. Pulling the forward control lever back does nothing until it reaches a point where it Yanks you forwarded full speed and when you back off a little instead of slowing down it throws on the brakes and throws you over the tiller. Herky jerky. Makes me wonder if any of the engineer's Road tested this thing before they signed off on it. ... show more

    • Very comfortable ride, but experiencing lots of equipment failures.

The scooter doesn’t go anywhere near 5mph or 18 mile distance unless the rider and all carry ons weigh less than 200 pounds. Our scooter came with an incorrect engine and faulty battery gauge. Buzzaround said other scooters had the same problem and replaced the engine with the correct one, but it took six weeks for our local Golden Tech repairman to receive the part (and I had to pay for the repair even when it was their error). The batteries also wouldn’t take a full charge and took five weeks to arrive. The battery meter still doesn’t accurately reflect the battery charge. With a full overnight charge, and immediately driving it on a smooth flat surface, it varies inconsistently from a red light (indicating the batteries need to be charged) to other various green and yellow levels (full to half full). OTHERWISE, the scooter is sturdy, extremely comfortable, and easy to transport. Love the height clearance when riding on grass and hard pack dirt surfaces.
