    • Super handy and easy to use.
Pretty nice once modified. Ok the lever sucks, it comes too loose, and you can't adjust it from the driver's seat. The bumper mount needs about 10" cut off and redrilled. The seed plate blocker is too thin and bends easily. The good side of that is when you drill it to run your cable adjustment it drills easily. IDK maybe I should rate it 3 stars, but it works good, is easy to fill, after using it I would probably save 100 and buy the bumper mounted one for 300. Mounted on a Yamaha Viking 3-seater and the cord will JUST BARELY reach the lighter socket, it does though, hope that helps some people. As someone already said mount the upper bracket first because the holes won't line up if you stick the upper in the receiver. ... show more

    • Sturdy when assembled, used a few extra washers on the frame.
Good product. Used on an 18 hole golf course for fertilizing greens and tees. Works best on a 500 Polaris quad, the side/side we had to rig up an extended handle for the release gate.

    • ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
Don’t waste your money on this. The bin is thin flimsy plastic that loses it’s shape so badly when filled the top won’t fit. It droops down so low in back it prevents the broadcast wheel from spinning. Half filled, the broadcast wheel will spin but then there’s the flow control on the hopper. It leaks badly when filled and closed will not remain where you set it when open. With every bump it opens or closes more. You will literally lose more product in piles everywhere than you broadcast. ... show more

    • Not an easy install~! For Sure…
The hitch had to be filed down (a lot) to make it fit into my Class 3 receiver. There is no mechanical stirring device in the bottom and both fertilizers and seeds do stop flowing… The discharge opening device is not setup properly and it took over an hour of hand fitting, to correct it. Also, the power cord is too short and I had to purchase an extender for $18.00 to make it reach my Kawasaki Mule power outlets. Two and a half hours of install and an extra $18.00 power cord, to make it work. Not a good thing~! ... show more

    • Great product. Took 15 min to assemble.
I was really worried about this as some of the reviews had it like a mechanic had trouble. My kid could put this together. Absolute simple install, works great. Everyone knows this is for dry feed/seed/salt. Nothing clumping would ever come out of a gravity fed broadcaster. Overall great product. If I were to make this I would make several mounting holes on the tubes so you can pic where you want to mount this as it does stick out a little too far but not a big deal. But just a suggestion have multiple mounting sites on both tubes for both height and depth settings. ... show more

After reading several reviews I decided to trust an American made product. Glad I did.The instructions were adequate and it appears to be made of quality materials that should stand up. Very sturdy unit. Arrived on time with no parts missing. These devices are typically mounted on the rear of ATVs however since my UTV has a front 2" receiver hitch, I decided to mount it on the front. This solved a few problems. First of all, the power cord easily reaches my plug in point. Next I was able to rig an extension to the gate lever using a small furring strip so I can open/close the gate from my cab without having to jump in/out or waste a lot of product. Note on pics the front window on my Polaris Ranger flips fully open to allow this. By having everything in front of me I can also monitor to be certain it is functioning properly. I also added temporary deflectors using shipping cardboard since I didn't want a full 40' of broadcast. I will probably rig a permanent solution for this later. Spreading fertilizer it easily spread 100# in 10 minutes and as long as its dry with no lumps it flowed well with no hang ups. Damp or lumpy material will give you problems as there is no agitator in the hopper. Figuring proper speed and gate percent opening is by trial and error but they do provide a calculation sheet for this.The gate lever is a little cheesy but worked as advertised. I would think American engineers could come up with an improvement. The cover is a bit difficult to put on but should be easier over time. Better than having it too loose! Overall very happy with purchase and I recommend it to others. I expect with proper care it should hold up for many years. ... show more
