A gift for hubby, he was super stoked to receive them. He loves the size and weight and the focusing etc was perfect for him. This is astounding because my hubby doesn't like to learn how to use something new and usually has problems of some type. Not with these! Very pleased with this purchase.

Yes ED glass, Dielectric Prism coating, "Exo barrier", Magnesium, etc etc. But bottom line.. the image is only marginally better than my $40 Generic pair. There is significant chromatic and spherical aberration despite all of the marketing buzzwords. The field is not flat, and focus softens at the periphery. Only a small area at the very center of the image is free from aberration. The flimsy annoying lens covers constantly pop off. This product puts too much reliance on buzzwords, and not enough on thoughtful design and carefully engineered APO, aspheric optics. I find myself more often reaching for my $40 lightweight binoculars that have lens covers that stay on and are made from tough poly-carbonate. ... show more

Utah had experienced a sand storm so looking into the distance wasn’t a good day to do it. However later that day in Colorado just outside Breckenridge I have to say for the price point, and my need this purchase proved well woth it effort.
