My pomaranian was starting to break out due to hot spots. I purchased this for 9.00 and it has worked the first time I sprayed it on my dog. The smell is not strong at all. My dog will not let me put anything of strong odor on him. It doesnt lather up it goes on clear when you spray. The value is great for natural ingredients. She hates getting sprayed with it, but it does help with her itching. I ended up spraying her four times the first day, and since then, it's been once or twice a day. Some days I don't even have to spray her. Smell is fine. It's got an essential oils smell that goes away pretty quickly. Our dog is a lab collie mix ... show more

I have had nothing but good experiences with the Burt's Bee brand for the decades I've been using it. When I discovered they also made dog products, it was a no-brainer. As I have a dog with a severe skin issue, I am always on the market for something to help soothe her. Unfortunately I can't tell if this works or not. The spray is almost completely scent free. I think that if I made Rosemary and Chamomile tea at home it would be stronger and possibly more effective. Since it did come from their Care+, I had greater expectations but I honestly cannot tell if this does anything. I gave it a 3-Star review because it definitely does no harm, it doesn't irritate any further but I am not sure it does anything more than a home brew of chamomile and rosemary would. ... show more

The relieving itch & hot spot spray has really helped my dog this summer. I love it and my dog appreciates it greatly. But the bottle (hence the four star review).... I have a small dog and she's not too keen on being spritzed with any sort of liquid, so I have to hold her up by her chest and spray her. This bottle is so difficult to hold and pump. After every spray pump, I have to set it on a flat surface and adjust my grip on the bottle. Burt's Bees, I love your products, but would you please consider redesigning your packaging for better ease of use. ... show more
