I consider this a lifesaver for my poor dog. It never fails, every single summer he develops hot spots on his back, legs and tail. He will start chewing and I immediately go to this spray. We shave the area first so it can breath and then we apply this spray. Last night he had a nickle sized spot that had dried out and was almost like a scab. This morning it is completely gone. He doesn't act any type of way after I apply it so I know it's nor burning or making his skin itchy. Will use forever. This works great on my dogs hot spots! He gets them yearly and I normally use a cream. I trimmed the hair away from it and sprayed this on it twice a day until it was healed. I also had to use a blow up collar to keep him from licking it. He doesn't run when he sees the bottle coming like he did with the creams! He must not mind this at all because he lets me spray them without moving. I'm glad this spray does not make him uncomfortable! I used this on one hot spot, not only did it heal but the fur is growing back! Unlike with the prescription (his) creams I used before. Pic included. #1 was treated with the spray. Fur is growing back. #2 was with cream a month before and still no fur. I am thinking it must be the spray. When he gets another I will know for sure if it also helps with the fur growing back. ... show more

This product worked miracles! My dog had hot spots for a couple weeks before I bought this, and after just two or three applications they were gone, like completely gone! I love that this product is made by Burt's Bees so you know that it doesn't have anything harmful in it, and IT WORKS. I recommend continuing use even after they are gone just to make sure that they don't come back immediately, but anytime my dog even just starts to get a hot spot I spay this on him and he is fine. Also the application is so easy all you have to do is spray, which makes it so easy when you have a dog that doesn't want to sit still so you can spray him. After my Malamute had an allergic skin reaction to K9 Advantix, I wasn't sute what to use that would safely sooth and heal my dogs skin. This product works well you have to put it on your dog and than distract him/her after application. This worked for my Tucker in 4 days I put it on him and than took him for a walk he is no longer chewing his arm for hours now. Actually I only say him do that once in 4 days if you don’t distract your dog they will just lick it off because they like the taste so to distract after application ... show more

My pups are highly sensitive to fleas and get get flea dermatitis very easily. As a result, one of them chews hot spots all over her legs and back, wherever she can bite, and it happens within just a few hours. We live in an area where fleas are horrible and they do not respond to flea preventative or pesticides. When my pups her these hot spots, tiger are in so much pain and and very itchy and this stuff helps within a day. I buy the itch relief for the itching and this for the hot spot care. I've tried everything to make my dog feel better. When I pull the spray bottle out he moves away. And hates being sprayed. Not with this. He stands still.. acts like he wants it rubbed in. Is happy and wags his tail. It has really seemed to help his hot spot feel better. Rocky and I give it 5 stars
