I bought this toothbrush almost 2 years ago now, 1 year and 11 months to be exact. 2 months ago I decided to see how long it would go without needing a charge, and just last night the charge light came on. 2 months on a charge is crazy awesome!!!! I (shamefully) haven’t replaced the head at all yet, and it still feels just as firm as it did day 1. It doesn’t lose its shape like other toothbrush heads! It’s been through 3 different apartments, multiple states in the US, and even out of the country with me. Super reliable. The detachable head makes it easy to store in medium sized pockets. I can not stress enough how awesome this toothbrush is. It’s just the best, hands down. This is starting to feel like I’m being paid to write this review, but I swear I just love it that much. I’d buy it 3 more times if I needed to without even considering another option. If you’re on the fence, just buy it and thank yourself later. ... show more

My teeth have never felt so clean. This toothbrush allows me to brush the inside of my teeth something other toothbrushes could not do. They were too big and the bristles on this one vary in length. I like the timer function which allows a set amount of time for each quadrant.

My old Oral-B electric toothbrush was at the end of its life, so I was shopping around for a replacement. Initially, I went for another Oral-B, but a higher end one. It blew my mind that for $100, I got a brush that took 22 hours to charge and lasted less than a week. Turns out even those don’t have lithium ion batteries. So that went back to the store. My girlfriend decided that she ought to get a new brush too, so we picked up a 2-pack of Philips Sonicare brushes at Costco. We both agreed after the first use that we were (surprisingly) unimpressed, especially given that they’re usually recommended by dentists. A few days later, I happened across a YouTube video by a guy that happens to be a dentist by trade, and he was doing a brush comparison. That was the first time I had heard of Burst, and it was his clear winner. Since my girlfriend and I were both shopping around for brushes we liked, we decided to give Burst a shot. This is unequivocally the best toothbrush either of us have ever used. The bristles are super soft, and each time you brush it feels like you’ve just left the dentist. The battery life is no joke either. I’m still on my first charge and haven’t gotten a low charge alert yet. We’ve already signed up for brush head refill subscriptions through Burst (it’s actually the cheapest way to go). We also decided to try out their floss, and it makes all other floss feel like a straight up waste of money. I’ve set up a subscription for that too. We’ve already recommended these brushes to other people and the ones that have pulled the trigger share our sentiments. ... show more

I just purchased my first Burst Sonic Toothbrush after having been a Phillips Sonicare customer for decades. The design of the Burst is very simple, sleek, has a good handpiece/grip. The brush head has very soft charcoal infused bristles. There's a Burst specific charger included that can be plugged into a USB port or the brincluded brick, and you can sign up for a subscription for replacement brush heads, which also activates a lifetime warranty of your toothbrush, and all of this at a very reasonable price point. The packaging was nicely designed and very minimalist. The downside is that coming off of my latest Phillips Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush, the Burst feels very weak. The Burst vibrates at a similar rate as the Sonicare, but just feels like a much weaker level of power. My teeth do feel very clean after using the Burst though, and I do really like it, and also the company Ethos seems very nice. Perhaps it will just take a bit of getting used to this lighter feel. ... show more

I just tried out this brush this morning, and even on the sensitive mode my teeth feel as clean as they do whenever I go to the dentist’s for a cleaning! Of course you should still floss after brushing, but the toothbrush really helped get all that hard-to-scrub plaque off my back molars especially. I can’t stop running my tongue over my clean teeth now. Going from manual brushing to electric brushing is going to take some getting used to, but I like that all I have to do is glide the brush across each tooth and the vibrations do the work of cleaning for me. One thing that I didn’t like about this product is that it seemed like it had been in storage for a while—the charging cable and block inside the box had dust and dirt on it that I had to clean off with a napkin. The box it arrived in was scraped up, as shown in the photo. The shipping service I used also only had about 2/3 of the tape holding the carrier box together, but that’s more the shipping provider’s fault than this toothbrush company’s. Overall, great product—just be wary that sometimes old products might be sent to you! ... show more

i’ve officially had this brush for over a year and it has not had any issues. i bought it because it seemed to be the only toothbrush with tapered bristles. i was hesitant because when i did buy it so many reviews said it had stopped working in less than year. but it’s still going strong. i don’t leave it charging all the time so that may be helping. ... show more
