I like the sections because they allow me to organize, to be able to find my metric and SAE wrenches. I didn’t like that the metal was very thin. And I didn’t like that there were no feet (it’s pretty common to set a toolbox down on cement which would scratch the paint off). It cost me almost as much as the box cost to add rubber feet. Now that I have added the feet I really like the box, I just hope the construction it holds up to use overtime. Be warned it is kind of a pain to add feet to the box. But it’s a one time deal, and I really like the box now that it’s done. I bought 20 rubber feet, a bunch of screws (links below).. Also bought #2 pieces ~20” long 1x1” hardwood (purple heart) from the local woodworking supply store.. The bottom is not flat (I Believe the very thin much metal would buckle, so they needed an arch for strength A 1 inch piece of wood will just fit in the bottom on each side, and it gave something substantial to screw the feet into. Otherwise the thin metal I do not believe would be strong enough to support the feet. Hardwood is prone to cracking, so even drilling pilot holes I didn’t trust a 1 inch thick piece of hardwood to not “eventually” crack. So I put several screws across the length of each piece (screws the opposite direction from the screws that hold the feet on).. Be warned, It was a pain drilling pilot holes thru both the box and the wood.. the box doesn’t quite let you get the drill straight, even with a long extension.. don’t attempt this unless you are good doing this kind of stuff.. if I had to do this over again, I would try to glue down the two pieces of wood, then carefully drill the corner feet (drilling thru the box and the wood same time).. and install the corner feet first before doing the rest (unless you used damn good glue that you know would not come loose while drilling). Yes, I used #10 feet on each side.. I almost glued a piece of neoprene.. would have been less work.. but the feet are permanent. I blow glass part time in a rental space, so I set out to find a toolbox that I could store all of my glass rods, tools, and other materials in. It is VERY difficult to find a toolbox that has enough space for 20" rods of color (the default size they come in), so when I landed on this one and saw a very affordable price, I knew that this was the toolbox for me. I can fit full-length rods in here, any clear glass, blow tubes, materials, and other tools, and there is actually enough space in the bottom compartment for me to fit an entire other toolbox in. SPACIOUS!!! And the quick access compartments on the top are so handy. The quality is very good, although not quite exceptional (the lock holes are misaligned), but I'm not complaining. For my uses, it has more than enough space and durability, especially since I was comparing this to other toolboxes in the $150 to $250 range. I love this box, and I have already recommended it to other glassblower friends.

A large tool box, this one is very well designed and constructed. It was a birthday gift for my son-in-law who is not a big handyman—but his tools were scattered between three different containers. I loved the separate trays to organize all tool types. The hinges were strong, and there was adequate storage space for most homeowners. My only disappointment is how heavy the tool box is once tools are stored inside.
