Description

Zinnias add bold, vibrant color to gardens. Our 'Cut & Come Again' mix is a popular Burpee pick, featuring mixed colors of our favorite double zinnia flower variety. Seed packet contains 175 flower seeds for planting. Long- stemmed flowers 2.5" across bloom in a blend of pink, bright red, yellow, salmon-orange, white and more hues. The more you cut, the more the live plants bloom, and they keep flowering from midsummer until frost. Heat-loving and very easy to grow in the home garden, zinnias are a summer delight - also great for cutting and displaying in fresh flower arrangements! The bright blooms attract beneficial pollinators, including bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Sow zinnia seeds outdoors 4 weeks after the average last frost date in your area, or indoor sow plant seeds 5-7 weeks before your outdoor planting date in spring using a Burpee seed starting kit. 100% GUARANTEED: Burpee offers the highest quality, non-GMO seeds hand-picked by expert horticulturalists for growing in the home garden. We treat each order with special care to ensure healthy seeds, plants and gardening supplies are packaged and shipped in excellent condition. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we aim to make it right!

Product Care Instructions: Keep plants well-watered during the growing season, especially during dry spells. Plants need about 1-2 inches of rain per week during the growing season. Use a rain gauge to check to see if you need to add water. It's best to water with a drip or trickle system that delivers water at low pressure at the soil level. If you water with overhead sprinklers, water early in the day so the foliage has time to dry off before evening, to minimize disease problems. Keep the soil moist but not saturated.

  • Yields many colorful flowers. Great for cutting.
Color: Cut & Come Again
I was skeptical when they arrived as the seeds looked a little skimpy. I tossed them into some soil, not expecting anything to come of it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of blooms that they produced. I am back again this year to repurchase them. I recommend this product. Note that these grow quite tall, over 2 feet high. The mixed colors were beautiful. There were creams and pinks and magenta’s and greens and yellows. They make for great cut flowers and they produce all summer long. I got a lot of enjoyment out of them. ... show more

  • Amazing, last year. Not this year.
Color: Cut & Come Again
I planted these seeds indoors in late spring, hoping that I hadn't waited too late in the season. They sprouted within days, and grew to be a foot tall in no time. I'm putting them in the ground today. Wish me luck. If you want healthy seeds, shop here. That was my review last year. My zinnias turned out very good, so I ordered more this year. Out of 30, only 3 germinated. I have no idea why. I'm really disappointed. ... show more

  • Abundant beautiful blooms
Color: Cut & Come Again
This seed packet produced the most beautiful tall flowers I’ve ever had. They survived tons of rainy weather and one of the hottest summers for Northeast OH. I would highly recommend!

  • bad seeds

I would pu 0 stars if it was an option. I followed directions and not one flower came up. Do not order! This has never happened to be before when planting.

  • Beautiful Colors
Color: Giant Mix
Great germination rate and mine was definitely a variety of colors. The blooms aren't as big as I thought they'd be but that could be because I didn't thin them out enough. Still good quality and beautiful but I got cheated on the price don't pay more than a few dollars.

  • Started out strong but withererd quickly in hot Texas sun
Color: Raspberry Lemonade
Seeds sprouted quickly and blooms came fast and there were a lot of them. But by mid July the hot Texas sun proved to be too much. Even with daily watering most of the plants died by the end of July. Those that survived stopped producing flowers. It's now the 3rd week of August hoping the hand full of plants remaining can make it few more weeks and maybe bloom again when the temp drops and the sun stop burning everything. ... show more
