My cats are all 14 to 16 lbs. The carrier is a great size and it is easy to get my pet in it. Feels sturdy and is very light weight. Only issue is the zippers aren't easy to pull. Cat almost got out while struggling to zip.

It's light, easy to clean, love the removable bottom and cover, easy to fold up and store, and it's easy to carry with cats inside. My 20 pound cat is snug in the large with a little room. I do not recommend anything smaller for a bigger cat.

It used to be pure agony trying to get my very large cat into his hard sided crate when he needed to go to the vet. He resisted and I struggled. 🤦🏻♀️ But this top-load crate worked perfectly! I got the largest size for our big boy, and on the first try - he dropped right in! AND this carrier was easier to handle and carry into the car and vet's office than my old one. I haven't used this yet but I zipped it all up and seems to be very well made. Good sturdy zippers and I like that there is lots of fresh air for my cat. While I had it sitting out zipped up, I had one end unzipped and my cat went right in and took a nap on the fuzzy bed. Good sign to me, he doesn't hate it. ... show more

My cat HATED his other carrier, so when he had a little accident in it, I figured it was time to try something else. This carrier is a great size while still compliant for airline regulations (I don't fly with him often but I'm planning to soon and this one fits the size requirements). I took the bottom mat part out of the carrier and by our screen door - my cat loves to sit on it and look out the window! It was really helpful to get him acclimated to the new carrier because once I put the mat back in the carrier, he went right up to it and laid inside no problem.
