We purchased this brewer for our teacher's lounge. It had been almost a full year since we'd had a Bunn coffee maker. Initially, we were renting one (with coffee, filters, etc.) from a beverage company to the tune of about $400.00 a month. Our principal decided that was crazy, and out the door it went. In came a plain old Mr. Coffee, and if you weren't first to the pot in the morning, you were basically out of luck. It took forever to brew a pot, and with only one pot available, well, it just didn't do the job. So, we decided to purchase one. This is an awesome machine. It hooks directly to the water, so you always have hot water - a must for our tea and hot chocolate drinkers. The display tells you how long it will take to brew a pot (around 3 minutes - plenty of time to brew and get a cup during a 5 minute passing period), and with Subscribe and Save, we will never run out of filters, sugar, creamer, or stir sicks. Now we have happy caffeinated teachers! The seller shipped quickly and the packaging was great! Happy teachers make for happy kids...mostly...until testing... ... show more

Bought this for the office, not only was it a good price but it makes good coffee, our last burner was too hot and sorched the coffee. It also has a lot of options to tailor different things, for instance I put in a 2 hour timer on burners to shut off.

There was a slight learning curve on how to set the correct ounces per pot of coffee, and we ordered one that was dented which actually ended up being on the bottom of the unit so it wasn't noticeable at all. This is great. 2min 30 seconds to brew a pot. Instant hot water has very low volume, the steam gets a little warm trying to pour 1 cup. If hot water poured faster or red level was redesigned to be not directly over spot it would be 5 star! Worth the money if you coffee maker never takes a break like mine. ... show more
