I bought my tree in March 2023 so I’d have it for the coming Christmas. Took a photo just for this review. It shaped up great but did take a while. Straight out of the box I was a bit disappointed. You could see bare wires poking out of the end of some branches and the trunk wrapping was sloppy and already starting to fray at the top. Fluffing it made it look a bit better but the branches were all wonky and you had to pull them down and twist them to the left or right, an inch or more, to fill in gaps. The needles are strange as well. I have a lot of trees and this is the first tree I've seen with these little 'nubs' poking out. Just small 1/4" - 1/2" ends, on every branch, that you can't really fluff or do much with. Some bottom branches stick out way too far, making it disproportionate, and quite a few branch tips are sharp and unwrapped, just bent under in a U shape. The pinecones are a nice addition, however, a couple of them are glued/wired around two needles so you can't separate them. The base is sturdy (2' tree) and once you get it fluffed it does look better than you'd imagine. I just expected more quality for the price. I purchased this to replace a plastic base, $5 craft store tree and seriously considered swapping them back out and returning this one because of the fraying and sharp wires. Since it is an accent tree, somewhat out of the way, I decided to keep it. However, I will be looking for something to seal the wires that have been turned under so they don't cut anyone who might touch the tree. ... show more

I was looking for a little green tree for a corner in my bedroom since it’s dark now for daylight savings time. I like keeping it up so it adds some sparkle with the lights during the dark winter months. I settled on the 42” tree and it looks pretty realistic for a fake tree but it is much smaller than I expected for the price. I added a set of 100 mini lights. The biggest downsides are the size and the price, as mentioned before, and that I wish it was a little more symmetrical. There are places in the middle where the branches could be thicker and longer so it was more balanced from top to bottom. The weighted base is fine and it is sturdy. There are more attached pine cones on the top rather than equally distributed all over the tree. If you are interested in adding miniature ornaments, it has enough space between branches to do so. It came in a skinny brown box and took about an hour to pull out each branch, starting at the base and straightening each individual twig. The tips of the branches have visible looped wire so I twisted one green sprout through each end so they would be less visible. I really did like the look of the tree and was so excited when I opened the box to see that it looked just like the picture. My girlfriend and I tried to fix it and even try and watch something underneath it so it would stay straight but nothing worked. A few branches fell off and we don't know where to replace them in the tree. I am so sad because I looked for Christmas trees since last year moving to my new place realizing my Christmas tree that I had was too big. I put a lot of effort into searching for the perfect one and thought I found it. My son leaves in 2 weeks and he was so upset that I won't have a tree up before he leaves. By All rights I need to send this tree back I shouldn't have to pay for something that's broke. ... show more

This sturdy little tree exceeded my expectations. I was going to add a small string of lights and place it on an outside table to complete my Christmas decorations but, it’s so pretty that I’m keeping it inside instead. Keep in mind however, that it’s not straight out of the box ready and requires LOTS of fluffing. There are many many delicate branches that need to be pulled down and carefully separated (I spent about a half hour). Another thing is that the diameter of the lowest branches is about 16 inches (more than 12) from tip to tip. I measured with a yardstick. This is a beautiful, realistic looking tree and a terrific value. I think the problem that some are having involves the amount of fluffing involved. Just be aware of this. You won’t be sorry.     • It Leans, But!

I hesitated to buy this tree after reading reviews that said it leaned, and that the middle branch was crooked. Sure enough, it is crooked- but only very slightly. I remedied this issue by putting the tree in a primitive bowl and tucking crumpled paper around the burlap base to offset the leaning. Worked like a charm. Then I put Spanish moss in the bowl to cover up the paper. I have to say, this is the prettiest little tabletop tree I've ever bought online... and I have many! It takes minimal fussing to fluff up the branches. It's very full and realistic in the end. I plan on putting fairy lights on it with floral wire. Don't hesitate to buy this. If you're willing to put ten minutes of love into it, the results are stellar! ... show more
