Not the end all but mattress is more stable and less noise from the slats. It is very light and easy to install under the mattress. As an alternative to more expensive ones I would buy it again.

I like that this ships in a relatively small package and unfolds into a large platform. It’s nice and sturdy and provides good support. The slats on my bed are too far apart, so this really helps fill in the gaps.
