I try to keep my expectations reasonable, so for the price I have to say that this is a great product. It has been doing a great job at keeping my bean shaved. I love the fact that I can take it into the shower with me to shave my head and it does a very nice job for an electric razor. I have also found the ease with which you can clean the blades terrific. Either use the little brush furnished with the razor, or hold the blades under running water and flush the head out that way. It couldn't be much simpler. Make sure to dry the heads before reassembling it and I try to remember to oil the blades once a week per the instruction manual. An electric razor no matter how good will never give you as smooth a shave as a razor blade will, but this little guy comes pretty close. My only complaints about this item are that the razor does not hold a charge all that well and, I don't know if there is something wrong with my particular item or if it is just a quirk of the product, but it will not operate while plugged into the wall socket. (no, I'm not trying to use it in the shower while it's plugged into the wall) Sometimes I use this in the shower, other times I will use it after my shower or on a day I am not taking a shower. I have found with my razor that it will only give me about 2 shaves and it then needs to be plugged back in to be recharged. My gripe is that if I have forgotten to recharge it, I cannot just plug it in and shave using the power cord. As I say, it don't know if this is a peculiarity overall with this model or if it is just a problem with my individual razor. I could live with the battery life if I could use the razor while it is plugged in, but because I have to make sure the razor is charged to use it, I took away one star. As I stated in the beginning, the actual performance of the razor is very good and I have no complaints about the job it does shaving or the ease of cleaning. So, overall it does a great job, I just wish I could plug it in to use it when the battery is low.

to preface this: I typically shave my head every 3 to 5 days with electric clippers. This product only works on hair under 2mm in length or every 1-2 days, so it required that I change up my routine a bit, and it wound up not really replacing my existing hair trimmer like I had hoped. In hindsight I probably should have gone with the Remington HC4250 Shortcut Pro for what I was looking for, but maybe I'll try that once this one dies. PROS: - if you like a clean shave close to that of a razor, this'll probably work out for you - It's easy to use, easy to clean. - Battery life seems about normal so far - it's usage is a bit more streamlined than using your typical electric clippers - comes in a nice compact pouch for travel CONS: - the side shaver sucks, is flimsy and it just doesn't function as intended - the entire unit feels like it would stop working if I were to drop it - I always have to redo the area around my ears and sideburns multiple times before it gets everything - at the time of this review, the replacement shave heads cost HALF of what the entire unit cost me, which means every 2 years I'd be paying the cost of the entire unit for just the razors. All of that assuming the battery life lasts - will update review about the inevitable reduction in battery life

I don’t usually review things I buy but this shaver needs to be an exception. I’ve been using this to shave my head for a month and I have to say it works great! I use shaving cream to avoid any razor burn or bumps. I rinse it in the sink 2-3 times while shaving and have no issues with it clogging. I shave almost every day and I’ve charged it twice in the first month of use. I’ve just ordered a set of replacement blades as my hair is pretty thick so the blades dull faster. I’d go thru 2 regular razors to shave my head and have to get my wife to help. With this, do it myself in about 5 mins. Does it get it as smooth as a regular razor? No but it gets it close enough to be worth the price in my opinion. Even if I have to get a new set of blades each month. How durable is it? We will see. I’ll update this when it dies or I have any unforeseen issues.

My first bold hair shaver was this exact model by Remington. When it broke after a few years, I tried to go with a different model that had cheaper replacement heads available. That product was absolute garbage. The dimensions were not mentioned in the description of the product, but it was only 2/3 of the size of the Remington. Immediately sent it back and ordered the Remington again. Shaving my head almost daily, I replace the blades about every three months. Great quality product that I will keep buying as needed. Easy to clean and very little maintenance needed, just a drop of oil here and there.

Got this on sale for about $50+ tax. It does exactly what I expected, and wanted, it to do. My skin will never allow for a baby smooth shave from any electric shaver, and I'm not sure that is even possible for the majority of men, but using this for maintenance every other day will do the trick. Takes 2-3 minutes vs 10+ for a razor, though I still use a razor on nights when I want to look "date" ready. I tried it both dry and wet (with a little thin, high quality shaving cream) and I preferred the latter, which I use while in the shower AFTER washing my head, first. I recommend never shaving without cleaning your face/head, first. You'll get a much cleaner shave.

I’ve held off on buying one of these because I wasn’t sure how well it would work. I was pleasantly surprised using it for the first time today. Easy, fast, and it works. Not as close as a razor shave obviously, but close enough. Way closer than normal buzzers get for sure. I’m really hoping this lasts a long time and does break, because as of now it has a perfect 5/5 score for me. Wish I picked one up sooner now.

I purchased this product in late August and was really happy with the way it left my scalp. Unfortunately, it quit working the first week of October. Amazon hooked me up and refunded the cost on a gift card. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I ordered a second one. Once again, the shave was great. This one lasted two weeks. Needless to say, I will not order a third. It's too bad, because I really liked the shaver.
