I don't no what's the complaints is about this unit...I took it for a drive an it work under ka...ban...when a police pass by...I made it back home an it ask me do I won't update...it ask me 3 time Different? Days an I click yes it beeps when it blocks 🚫 out false signals...I have the camera I use the camera that come with it on my escort EX..detector an it work just fine...only down side it can't do is pickup on the radar gun call..LIDAR RADER...no Rader detecter out there can pick up on those guns the police use...it's,the kind when the police 🚔 have to park an put the radar gun to there eye an can hit you about 1 mile away before you can get to them an when you do see them they already got you ..when u do see them your detacter will not warn you ..because the light that hit your car 🚗 that come from the Rader is not Detectable, But the escort 360c have a Feature on it that you can Select call Station police..I haven't tried it but maybe it will work .. ... show more

Mine gets regularly used in virgina for those wondering. It is pricey but thats what you pay for if want safety( use in non friendly states) and quality. It has helped me get out of my share of tickets over the years.

DO NOT BUY! Complete ripoff...sent me a non working radar detector with a malfunctioning power cord receptacle on the side of the detector. The only way the detector powers on is if I back the end of the power cord out of the side of the detector, just enough to prevent it from clicking into the detector, and hold it in that position with my hand. The power cord works fine on the attached camera so it ISNT the cord! It's the power cord receptacle on the side of the detector. It's a useless piece of junk if I can't click the cord into it! To send the detector back, they are withholding about $100 plus tax from the refund!! You sent me junk? You should replace it!! But that's not even an option!! I can only get a partial refund!! I am thoroughly disgusted! I've had nothing but Escort radar detectors for years, including a Redline 360c i currently have in my second car but you can bet after this experience, they've lost a customer.
