UPDATE! I still love the look of this watch. It's truly beautiful, but the clasp that holds the band in place is defective and I'm afraid I'm going to lose my watch because of it. It has already unclasped itself several times. When I look at the new photo in this listing, there is now a metal clasp on the back that didn't come with my watch, so they obviously know this clasp is not good. I wish they would send me that metal band so that my watch stays on my arm. This is a very pretty watch. It looks more expensive than the $495 I paid for it. The diamonds elevate it, but they're not super blingy the way so many watches are these days. It's very elegant. I have small wrists so I put a photo up that shows the watch next to a quarter so you can gauge the size. It's not a huge face, but allows for a person with small wrists to have a watch that looks a little larger. ... show more

Gorgeous watch and I got a killer deal (thank you seller). But.. the clasp stinks on the leather banded models. Itโ€™s too hard to feed the strap through the first loop. That loop will wear out out in no time. I have this watch with the metal bracelet and that one is perfect. The design of the clasp on the leather strap versions is sub par - not the sellers fault! ... show more

My wife loves blue and the dial on this watch did not disappoint. Plus she likes the diamonds on the dial and the case. The diamonds on the case are small, but they are there. Bulova has a way of making beautiful, timeless dress watches. They will probably never go out of style. This watch is no exception. It's a bit more expensive than the other watches that you can find from the same Bulova brand on Amazon. Indeed, the cost of over $800 makes it a bit hard for me to justify giving it five stars, when there are other Bulova watches for half that price that look to be comfortable. It's not as if the $400 Bulova watch will tell time less accurately than the $800 watch. Of course, nobody buys such an expensive watch just to know the time. After all, all of our smartphones tell us the time. Nowadays, you buy a watch just as a piece of jewelry. It's an accessory. Still, I can only give this four stars because it's such an expensive accessory for what you get. What you get is an amazing watch that is beautiful but at a steep price.
