    • Solid bullet blender
I have been waiting on getting a bullet type blender for a while. Not for a good reason, mostly looking for a deal. This bullet style blender popped up so I got it. Overall, I would say it's good. Not great. Very solid. I have been using it for four days straight on my morning smoothie which is what bullet blenders were designed for. I don't do anything super complicated... protein powder, a green powder, a red powder, some organic cocoa, nut butter, and a third to a half cup or so of frozen fruit - typically berries. Every once in a while I will throw in a handful of spinach if I have it. Few things to note: First, the largest container is 17 oz, but the max line marked on it is significantly below that. Call it 12 oz, although I haven't measured it. Second, I typically mix my smoothie with 10oz water but did it with milk one day. milk tends to froth, which creates too much volume in the blender cup, which led to the motor bogging down a bit. It didn't shut off, just slowed down for a moment, then powered through. If you are looking for milk based smoothies, you may need to limit the liquid to 8 ounces. Third, the directions say to not run continuously for more than a minute. You press down on the cup to pulse blend so doing this for a minute will be hard. BUT, for frozen fruit, you need to do probably 60 seconds of blending to ensure you get it well blended. My process has been pulse for 15-20 seconds, shake the cup, do it again for 15-20 seconds, shake the cup, then a finishing blast of 15-20 seconds. Overkill for just blueberries, necessary for frozen strawberries. Last, the blender does come with a lot of accessories. I don't think I will use any of them other than the extra 17 oz cup and maybe the to go lid. Most of the rest I pitched. I did keep the small cup and different blade as I will try to use this as a mini food processor and see how that goes. I don't have high hopes, but I will give it a try. So... overall, solid bullet style blender. It's priced near the name brand I was going to buy, but has more accessories.     • A lot of do's and don'ts
This one has more sprockets on the base and the blade collar than my defunct one from another company. Also less brittle materials, it looks like, so it might last longer. This one doesn’t lock in place and run; you have to hold it while it grinds. Which is good, since you aren’t to use it continuously for more than one minute or it might overheat. Pulsing seems ok. Hand wash, not dishwasher and be careful of the water temperature. Certain rules about which blade and which cup to use to keep it working. Lots of goodies included. I’m still experimenting. Love the fine breadcrumbs I can make with it from dried sourdough. I’m not going to even try frozen soft fruits for a smoothie from what I’ve read in the manual. Takes only tiny ice cubes (ice cube tray included). So far, I’ve used a tiny bit of crushed ice from the fridge. Hopefully if I’m careful with it and am able to remember and follow all the rules, it will last a while for a few projects I will use it for. ... show more

I've been using the Airpher Smoothie Bullet Blender for a few weeks now, and I've been pretty impressed with it. It is a powerful and versatile personal blender that is perfect for making smoothies, shakes, sauces and hummus. It's also great for grinding coffee beans or spices. It features a 850-watt motor that can easily crush ice and blend tough ingredients, and it comes with two BPA-free cups, two blades, and an ice tray. 😋 It's easy to use and clean, and it makes delicious smoothies and shakes. I especially like the fact that it comes with two cups, so I can make a smoothie for myself and one for my partner. However, the quantity you can work with is limited, given the restricted MAX line inside the actual containers. 🥤 In addition, it’s a bit noisy at high levels, and it requires some extra muscle to operate it effectively! I’m able to make awesome smoothies with this blender. I can also reblend if my smoothie starts to separate! I enjoy the flexibility and that I can make several blended drinks without the motor overheating. It’s easier to clean once you’ve poured your drink, just add some water and a drop of dish soap, turn it on and wala it’s clean! ... show more

I can't believe how much comes with this blender for $59.99 (price at time of this review): two large cups (17 oz), one smaller cup (10 oz), to-go lids for the large cups, two types of stainless steel blades, grips for the large cups, two stainless steel straws, two extra sealing rings, a regular cap for storage, and a cover with holes for spices or nuts. If using ice they recommend small cubes, so they included a silicone ice cube tray. There is even a cleaning brush. And of course an 850 Watt motor base. The instructions are pretty basic and simple to understand. I started out with a yogurt fruit smoothie, using partially thawed fruit, yogurt, milk, and a little bit of ice. It was easy and came out great. (See photos.) The best part was how effortless the cleanup was compared to my regular sized blender. Today I let my grandson make a slurpee with orange juice and some ice. Once again, it was fast and easy. The unit takes up less space on my counter, though I had to make room in a drawer from some of the accessories. I've checked out comparable blenders and none of them come with so many extras.
