I am incredibly picky with blending because I enjoy smoothies, but I have texture issues with strings, seeds, etc. This does a pretty great job of making a nice, palatable drink. I appreciate having a single-serve device, too, because I never overprepare or waste ingredients. It's very easy to clean - you just pop the whole container off, flip it over, unscrew the blade lid, and replace it with a drink lid. None of the pieces have inconvenient nooks or holes that are hard to scrub. My one complaint: this thing is so, so noisy. My entire household is very aware when I'm using it. I'm not comfortable making anything unless everyone upstairs is awake at the time. For me, it's a small price to pay for a nicer blend, but I can't recommend it if a quiet device is a must for your needs. ... show more

This blender is very powerful and very loud! I don't mind the loudness as I live alone, but this will wake up an entire household. Just be warned. That being said, this thing can blend ANYTHING with ease. Easy clean-up. I only have ONE tiny suggestion to Ninja, if they even read this stuff: On the containers there is a "FILL LINE", but it is only on one side, so I frequently find myself continually flipping it around to see it. This fill line is quite important especially if you are blending frozen things as you truly DO NOT want to fill below the line in this case. Other than that, an excellent purchase.     • What a Great Buy!
I love it already. I got it from the Amazon Warehouse and was a little worried because of something else I just bought and returned because it was obviously not checked over well because it was returned and wasn't in "like new" condition. And I've purchased Echo devices through the Warehouse with no problem. But the Ninja I received today has helped restore my confidence in Amazon Warehouse items. The box was damaged as stated. But the product worked for me perfectly and had no cosmetic flaws that I have noticed. I was so tired of using the shaker cup I have that I opened the Ninja up right away and cleaned it and used it. Wow. I'm impressed. And to think I didn't know I could afford a Ninja blender. But thanks to Amazon Warehouse I got this one for almost half the price of a new one. It is powerful and quick and I'll have to try it out more to see what it's best points are. But for now it's just better than shaking my shakes by hand and them not being completely mixed after I shake and shake and shake. I am totally impressed right now and happy I could get a special price just because the box was damaged. And it is easy to clean. If you rinse it immediately after use it is like it hasn't been used at all. I'm sure I'll want to at least hand wash the items I have used tonight. But they were super easy to rinse clean after use. And I would definitely recommend this product and also say don't let one bad experience turn you away from Amazon Warehouse products. My experience is that they are as stated and will save you money. Just don't buy from individuals who claim their product is used but "like new". ... show more

    • Loud as all heck, but great blender
Bought about 2 weeks ago. Set up and take down takes like 3 seconds. Prepping my ingredients to putting the blender away can take as little as like 3 minutes if I'm doing a routine strawberry banana smoothie. It's powerful enough to make a smooth smoothie, no random ice chunks and stuff. It has 2 blend settings and a pulse setting. I like how the blend settings pulse a few times to make sure anything thicker that gets stuck at the top gets to settle and into the blades path. Easy to clean, easy to set up. The base has little suction cups to keep it from dancing across the counter. I love that the blend cups have a lid so you can make a smoothie and just pop the blades off, throw a cap on, and walk away. ... show more

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he has used it almost twice a day, every day since. It's very sturdy and durable. Make sure you put it on a stable surface before using. We originally put it on top of our roll-away dishwasher and it was so strong that it made the entire thing shake and move around. IT has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from scooting across the counter though so that's a good feature. I love the auto-IQ buttons. This blender does an amazing job of juicing fruits and veggies. I am impressed with the pulverization of strawberry seeds. I'm not sure why but it doesn't seem to work as well on black berry seeds. Maybe they're tougher? It does a great job with fibrous stuff like apples and celery. I personally like it for my keto diet because I can mix almond milk with strawberries and have a yummy treat. I haven't had an leaking problems with the blade or lid attachments. I will say though, don't put either attachment on too tightly or you may struggle to get it off. It seems to suction itself onto the cup. A few times I got worried that I wouldn't be able to get the lid off. I also find all the pieces easy to clean. Overall, great product! This Ninja works really well. I was hesitant to order it because of a lot of negative reviews. Although, I did read one intelligent man’s review which made a lot of sense and that convinced me that I should definitely give this one a try. 1. Yes, It is loud when you are using it with ice. Very loud! But the results are worth it. Anyway it’s only for one minute… Cover your ears!!! 2. Very easy to clean. Each part is very carefully, And conveniently, designed. 3. To avoid negative results… DO NOT Ever overfill. ALWAYS clean each component completely. Make sure you let everything DRY thoroughly to Prevent mold or mustiness. 4. It’s really a nice looking Appliance. It also has little suction cups underneath of it to hold it in place. A very nice feature. 5. Enjoy!!! The creamiest, smoothest, smoothies!!! Absolutely no chunks of ice or pieces of fruit or vegetables. Just pure Smoothie Delight!!! ... show more
