    • Adjustable Intensity Headlamp - Definitely Recommend!

This adjustable intensity headlamp will have lots of different uses! In particular though, I needed a hands free light that would allow me to take my two dogs out in the back yard to potty after dark. There are a number of coyotes and other animals in the vicinity, even with a walled/fenced yard, and I wanted to ensure my pups' safety and provide them with enough light to navigate their way. Not only can I illuminate the far corners of the yard, we can see halfway down the next block! I use caution though to avoid having the dogs look directly into the bright light (even with it dialed down), and also try to avoid shining it into the street so I don't disorient oncoming vehicles (it's that bright!). I would definitely buy this product again, although I should note the headpiece is a little bulky and the battery pack just a tad heavy. Once you're out the door though, you're no longer likely to notice! ... show more

This flashlight fit perfect for my hard hat it performs good in all weather conditions. It’s easy to use you can focus it from a tight beam to a wide beam it adjusts nicely. The durability seems up to par BUT the battery life stinks might just be the cheap batteries the come with not really sure I’m going to replace them with higher quality one and see how it does ... show more

The lamp was sold directly from the manufacturer (budk direct). The product was defective and did not work. It was outside the Amazon return window of 30 days due to it being purchased as a gift. When contacted, the manufacturer said they do not provide service for products sold from them as the manufacturer as they only support products sold under a different seller name. Do not expect any product support if you purchase this headlamp even if it defective out of the box. ... show more

    • Pros and Cons…but it does work.

The battery lasts at least 8hrs on low with the red back light on as well, so I’m very pleased with that. The quality seems to be good so far (only had it a few weeks so far) and the light is really bright at first. During use I noticed that when I turn the light on initially it’s really bright, but after about 10-15 min it slowly gets dimmer. So I turn the light off and immediately back on, trying to reset it I guess, and it’s nice and bright once more…for about 10-15 more then starts to dim yet again, which I’ve experienced with ni-cad batteries in the past, but never lith-ion batteries so I’m a little confused as to what the issue is… the battery that comes with it is not replaceable. It’s soldered into a circuit board. Also there’s nothing written on the battery designating it is Ni-cad or lithium. Overall, I am pleased with this light, but I wish it stayed brighter like the ones I’ve had in the past. Also the “motion sensor “ is a useful idea but when a person or a piece of machinery pass you with a bright light on it will cause yours to turn on/off. ... show more

Great lamp. Easy to change the brightness levels. The lamp includes a great zoom feature that allows you to focus the light or broaden it. It has a nice red light on the back to increase visibility of the wearer. Very comfortable and useful for camping, as well as working on things like cars or in crawl spaces.
