First time taking PreWorkout in 2 years. I wanted to start out with a lower dose of caffeine. I was impressed and highly satisfied. This tastes good and I was energized throughout my workout. Not the worst tasting pre-workout but it's just like any other flavored supplement---sweet. Who really drinks preworkout for the taste though? What's more important is the quality of workouts that follow. I do feel that it gives me a pretty good "pump", and I've been told that the pump in your muscles is important to blood flow and muscle growth. There's a decent amount of caffeine and energy boost, which must be considered depending on what time you of the day you workout and when you intend to sleep. I prefer to workout at night so I don't use the "heaping scoop" that is suggested on the container. I take about 3/4ths of that scoop and find that it still helps my workouts without getting me too jittery. Bottom line is I've been getting great gains while using this workout, but no supplement should ever replace consistency and hard work.
