This is my first time using a pre workout. I enjoy the gym but some days I’m just not feeling it, so I wanted something to give me a little push and keep me energized to perform my absolute best the entire workout. I hate energy drinks and already start my day with a protein shake and double shot espresso but I needed something a little extra. Having never used this, I used only a 1/2 scoop in 24 ounces of water. I drank it 20 min before arriving to the gym. Upon arrival I definitely felt more awake and absolutely had energy. The best part was it felt NATURAL. It didn’t feel artificially induced which was my fear. I was able to get in a very vigorous 60 min leg day. I was able to pump out more reps and extend my time from 45 min to a full 60 min. I left feeling worked and tired but not exhausted and definitely no crash and burn. I didn’t experience any tingles or itch which I read are common side effects of pre workout powders. While I have nothing to compare it to , I feel the over all quality was great. At only 1/2 the suggested serving, it met my purpose and tasted pretty good (they did however send me the wrong flavor. I ordered bomb pop and got blue raspberry) I look forward to making it part of my regular gym routine.

This is my first time taking a pre-workout. The first day I took this pre-workout, I did not feel sleepy at work and planned to work out but I did not. The next day I took the pre-workout early in the morning and about 15 mins late, my face, ears and hands started to itch. I thought I was having an allergic reaction but after more research, I see this is pretty common with beta-alanine (my first time taking any pre workouts guys lol). Trying to see if I can get over that feeling and keep using it because I really like the product. Gave me a good little boost of energy and I definitely feel like I am pretty energized throughout my day. No jitters and the blueberry raspberry flavor is pretty good. I recommend if you can get over that itchy feeling.

As someone who has used preworkout a lot in their life. I have tried many many brands going back 15+ years ago. I think this one tastes great and works just as great. I might even recommend this over a traditional beginner preworkout like C4 or N.0. Xplode (do they still make that??) but it's not insane like the 400mg caffeine preworkouts available today. It's not third party tested like something from transparent labs would be, if you're super health conscious. But those companies are at least $50+ per bottle. I used both, and I like this one better as it's such a good value when you review the label. My only complaint is the 2 sided scoop. There's 1 scoop serving on one side, and 2 scoop serving on the other. I used this for the first time around 630am before the gym in a somewhat dark kitchen and didn't realize it. I ended up dumping 2 scoops on the counter which was a little frustrating I didn't have any grittiness at the end of using it, which is unusual. This mixed well with water much better than other companies and gave me great results during 1 hour of resistance and 30 minutes of cardio.

If taste is low on your list, feel free to entertain this option. It gives a smooth bump in energy and is formulated well for that. I do believe the max scoop is too great in caffeine content, so I'd stay away from double scooping, 360mg, but that's your decision. As far as the taste... its very pre workout like. I see pre works outs in 4 tiers: -Tastes good (literally would drink it at any time if there wasn't massive caffeine in it) -Tastes OK, meaning not good but not terrible -Taste medicine-like (self explained) -Taste like a pre work out (which is the worst) very sharp, very harsh taste. I've only had one good pre workout and its discontinued. Most of the other I've used are in the OK range. This one, in Watermelon, is in the worst tier. Very harsh, and very sharp. I actually doubled the water to knock down the overbearing artificial flavor. All and all, not a fan. I'm actually surprised at the number of positive reviews. I know we are all different, but I can't see how someone sees this one (watermelon) as good tasting. Just blows my mind. I imagine this is what watermelon Nyquil would taste like.

My neighbor turned me on to this. I am not a gym guy. I go about 3 times a week and basically do cardio and cables. That said, I love this stuff. It's not like an energy drink. Rather, somehow, it makes me hyper focused. It's indescribable. Immagine making that "focused" face where you make your eyes big and have tunnel vision.... that is how it makes me feel - all day. I have no idea how it lasts all day. I only use the small 1 scoop. While at the gym I feel motivated, but not energetic which was what I expected for a "pre-workout." It tastes delicious too. I am not sure how a gym rat guy would rate this, but as a simple dude looking to get exercise, this works very well, and better than I ever expected.
