This was exactly what I needed for a summer formal wedding. The wedding itself was at Lincoln Park Zoo in July, so HOT, the reception was at a venue that was indoor/outdoor. I needed something light in weight and formal, this was the ticket. I dressed it up with a patent leather thick belt (it really needs a belt of some type), patent wedges and pearl jewelry. I can also see this dressed down with another style of belt and jewelry. I have another even coming up, less formal, and plan on wearing it with a gold belt and gold sandals. The size small fit perfect (5ft 6, size 4 normally). My husband really loved the bluish color (that I also ordered) but I decided I'd get more use out of the black and could vary up the style more easily (from more casual to formal) with the black- but the bluish color was gorgeous as well! ... show more

Love the lightweight fabric. It did not wrinkle even after sitting. It’s dressy but very comfortable with no static cling. I added a belt (also from Amazon) because the elastic waist was a tad wonky. TTS, but wish the waistline was a little lower. Very comfortable and will wear again!

I loved the fit of this dress and the material was great for the price! I will mention that the material is thin but since the dress was black it wasn’t see-through at all. I was worried how the neckline/collar would look but I loved it. The dress was flowy and cool enough for an outdoor wedding. The packaging made the dress very wrinkly but a steamer did the trick! The seam down the slit was a little off (which is why I only gave 4 stars) but it wasn’t noticeable. Again, great quality for the price and it was the perfect dress for a wedding. ... show more

The only thing I think isn’t exactly as pictured is that the colour isn’t as rich a brown but it’s a very pretty dress, I got compliments and it fit true to size. I ordered this dress in the beautiful vibrant blue and also the teal color. The vivid blue came today. I love the weight and feel of the fabric, and the mock neck fit me perfectly-- I did not have the loose neck problems other reviewers did. I also was able to button and unbutton the top button myself without any help. But with the blousy top and the bright color, and the long flowing bottom, I just looked like I was swimming in way too much fabric. I really wish they would have had the shoulders come in a little too- that would be far more flattering than going all the way out to the edge of the shoulder. I am hoping that the teal color will not look so overwhelming on me since it is so much darker. The fit was excellent- I got a size small, I am 34D, 28 waist, 36 hips and it flowed nicely. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am a busty woman in my late 50’s and this dress worked great for me! I got the wine red color. It covers the stomach pooch and I love the side slits. I got a large . I weight 160 and at 5”6 this was a slenderizing dress! The arm hole were slightly snug but I lift weights so I’m more broad in the shoulders than most women. The only thing I didn’t like was that the dress came wrinkled. It needs steaming to get the wrinkles out and the drape should then be fine. It’s is a flowy dress and comfortable.
