Update- seller sent me a replacement after I contacted them. Hoping first issue does not persist. Will update. The way this thing is made is incredibly problematic. For one my husband had to go to the hardware store to get oil because the bottle that came with it was completely empty. So that was annoying. Then he used it said there were some issues with the chain coming off frequently and gives kickback. But he got some little branches cut and was happy because overall it was doing the job and he didn't have to use a big chainsaw. Didn't overuse it, didn't overheat, just testing it out. Then he goes to use it the second time and it's not working because he investigates and the housing that keeps the blade in place on the inside is all plastic. And the plastic area around the bolt was completely stripped and broken away..... just completely broken. Why in the world would you have cheap thin plastic keeping the high-powered blade in place? It makes zero sense and is just cheap cheap cheap. So this thing is completely unusable now. I'm peeved and would like a replacement but the same thing will happen because this is a huge design flaw. ... show more

My husband laughed when I said this is what I wanted for Christmas but he went ahead and ordered it. When it arrived he called it a Barbie saw or toy but now when I want to use it, it is always in his workshop. This is such a great saw and as others have said, cuts like butter through pretty large 3-5 inch trees. My husband always wants to bring it to our cabin and he rarely uses his large chain saw now. We have used it when trees have fallen across our friends drive and she could not get her car out. Everyone is amazed. It has a bit more power than most of them. You should buy! ... show more

The only negative is the button to turn it on is much harder for me to push than the 4 inch … however I love having both th3 4 inch and 6 inch. I’m old and they really help me with trees and branch removal.
