Impressive cordless chainsaw. It is lightweight but still has plenty of power for trimming branches. I like that it’s compatible with DeWalt batteries. The brushless motor makes a noticeable difference. It runs smooth and gets the job done efficiently. The auto oiler is a huge plus because it keeps the chain properly lubricated without extra hassle and the safety lock adds some peace of mind when handling it. It’s not meant for heavy duty cutting but for everyday yard work it gets the job done really well.

I don't often provide a review of purchased items, but this little, inexpensive saw is quite impressive. I bought it for small jobs around the yard, then the ice storm hit. I was able to cut a very large hardwood branch (approx. 13" diameter) to clear a pathway. It performed well. It is very lightweight, easy to handle, cuts well and came with three chains. As others have pointed out, the adjusting tool is inexplicably the wrong size. I have only had it a couple of weeks, so I am unable to comment on durability/longevity, but as of now I would definitely buy this again.

This is a bada$$ little cutting machine! I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it cuts. The only reason I gave it 4 starts is because the tool provided is too big for the 10mm nuts!!!

Used this to cut back a huge amount of ivy from a wall. Some of the branches were quite thick and it cut without issues. If there’s a flaw, it’s that the chain tends to come off if you’re not cutting smoothly and keeping the blade straight. It’s not too difficult to place the chain, but it does take a little practice. Make sure you get and use the correct oil and check it every 15-20 minutes of use. This is an amazing tool, for the money.

This is a handy little chainsaw. It’s battery operated and uses 20 volt Dewalt battery which we already have. It works great for trimming and pruning trees or for cleaning up storm damage. We have 3 gas powered saws that we use for big tree cutting jobs but this one is very handy for smaller jobs and it’s lightweight enough that I can use it. It has a safety switch that you have to push to start it so you can’t accidentally start it and get hurt. The chain easy to adjust or change. It includes 3 chains and a carry bag which is very handy. So far I’ve had no problem with oil leaking from it. This is a tool I wish we had known about a lot sooner!

This was a great addition to my arsenal of random tools. For cutting brush, I have three gas powered chainsaws, an electric extension chainsaw for limbs, a Shindaiwa trimmer with brush blade, pruning shears, and now a quiet electric baby chainsaw! Sometimes you just want to go out and cut some brush without alerting everyone within a ten mile radius what you're up to. With this, nobody knows you're out cutting trees down. Midnight urge to cut brush? Early morning sunrise tree-felling urge? No problem! It's actually quite powerful and cuts very well. It is also very lightweight. Changing out the chain or one of my plethora of yellow batteries is easy. This saw requires almost no maintenance so it turns (small) tree cutting into just a bit of yardwork. Don't worry though, the usual chainsaw "gotchas" are still there. Hit the dirt or a lump of coal? Your chain still goes dull just like that *snap.* I really hope the saw lasts awhile before breaking! Update: rest in peace little chainsaw! It got squished by a tree. I'll order another for sure!
