I just had to write this review so others wouldnt waste thier money on these 12volt things like i did for quite the while before i got the best ones out there.Well anyways i had bought several different brands of the 12 volt mini angle grinders and they were all alike...under powered and didnt run for very long.I also took some of the battery packs apart and found most were not the advertised capacity.Well anyways i saw this one advertised with a 16.8 volt battery and BRUSHED motor.Said 16.8 ? Got to be better than the 12volt ones.Sure enough it makes all the difference in the world.Way more powerful and way longer work times...what a differece.Dont even waste your time or money on the 12 volt ones.Anyways after awhile i noticed seller had now an even newer 16.8 volt upgraded model of the same with way more features so i decided to get that one...not that the other one was obsolete or not the best i evewr had.I loved the first model and to me it was the best compared to any 12volt ones.So now that i got this upgraded version to me there is none better even though the original is still great...LOL.They both come in a very sturdy blow molded case for storing and have 6 diff 3inch cutting,sanding and grindind discs.Pair of safety gloves and charger.The original one came with one battery and and new one comes with two 16.8 batteries.NICE !!!!.Now here is some of nice new feature for the upgraded one. First off the new one now comes with a BRUSHLESS motor intead of the BRUSHED.We all know that means less heat,more power,lasts longer and smoother and quieter.There is also a one click push button for spindle lock for changing blades easily.Push once it locks push again unlock.Cant get any easier than that.On back end of motor there is now a nice digital battery voltage readout.Lov it !!!.The power switch is also easier to use especially compared to all those 12 volt models out there.Be sure to check out the pics to see the nice improvements and features of this upgrade and to me the besat one for sale out there.

Needed to cut copper pipe right up against the back side of exterior stucco. No room for pipe cutter or sawzall. This worked. Also made clean cuts on sheetrock corners to remove sheetrock cleanly in remodel situation.Haven't had it that long but so far it's been useful.

Read through the instructions Manual twice. Not one mention on how to assemble the discs or what buttons to push. There are two which need to be pushed together. I’d think they would cater to those who have never run a grinder before. I don’t know how to put on or change the disc or how to keep it running by using two buttons that are not on the same Side. But one around the corner from the other. If you have arthritis forget it. This takes a lot of strength to hold that position holding down two buttons. So now I wait for a friend to come over to show me how to work this.

I like this handy tool, and since I got it I have found myself using it for all kinds of things like sanding down rust, cutting pesky edges off of wood, grinding sharp edges of metal, etc. But this tool isn't strong enough to cut right through a metal bar. I also looked and looked and looked on Amazon to see if I could find and buy an extra battery for this thing, but for the life of me I can't find one!!! I wish it would have come with 2 battery packs! Other than that I am pleased with my purchase. The price wasn't too much and the tool comes in handy all the time.

They are nice and bright, and the different settings are also really nifty. The only complaint I have is that the battery life could be a little bit longer. But the fact that I have 3 backups makes up for this. Other than that I love these, they come in handy. Would recommend, would buy again!
